Warnings don't always mean a tornado is coming or there is one on the ground! Radar is picking up rotation. The video is great because of the tranquility from birds to silence at the end. The birds were feeling a slight pressure drop to shut them up!!!
Great video!!!!! I am a local as well and outbreaks of severe weather to this proportion rarely happen. I enjoy every moment and is just another reason why I am in College studying to become a Meteorologist!!!!!
Yes the bird thing was really weird. You may have also seen that I have a separate video of a real twister dropping out of a cloud that I caught last summer at Nags Head North Carolina. That was really cool! Best of luck at college!
