From "Parks & Recreation": a mockumentary series following Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler), the deputy director of the Parks and Recreation department in the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana. Leslie is determined to improve her small world through her job, despite resistance from Parks Director Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman), an anti-government Libertarian. The series also stars Aubrey Plaza, Chris Pratt, Rashida Jones, Aziz Ansari and Retta.

I think Ron had a bit of mommy issues growing up: his mom’s name is Tammy, his first wife’s name is Tammy, and his second wife’s name is Tammy. Thank god he met Diane when he did.
Tammy 2 is Ron being weak true, but Tammy 1 is just him being a victim of abuse and manipulation, she basically groomed him since he was born

"Librarianicity" implies that the adjective form would be "Librarianic", but surely the adjective form should just be "Librarian", in which case the noun of the property/trait should probably be something like "Librarianess" or "Librarianality".

It's always struck me as odd how Jerry was talking to Ben in the courtyard, and in the span of 24 seconds: quits talking to Ben, re-enters the building by another door, somewhere acquires cake, and makes it all the way to where Ron was running.
Look, if Jerry senses cake there's nothing on earth that can stop him from getting some.

Probably the best show from the first episode to the very last episode.. they answer every question so you don't end up wondering what they end up doing.. first season is pretty slow but after that it gradually gets better and better.. and anyone can watch. Such a good show

My favorite cold open weirdly is the Andy Piggyback riding. Something about Leslie not dismounting and letting him walk and talk the councilman (and him taking her seriously and making eye contact) is without question one of the most beautiful, dumb, and funniest things I have ever seen. It's so strangely charming to see government work be done with such a stupid premise.

It was at 8:22-9:26 I realized when I first watched this show many years ago, I was an April Ludgate through and through, now I’m a Ben Wyatt. I’m not sure how that happened but I’m okay with it.
