Just letting you all know, Christianity is not a religion, but it's a relationship. I'm most religions, there is no relationship with their god, but in Christianity it's the strongest, most amazing relationship with God. This song + animation just shows how amazing and powerful God is. I struggled in my faith for the longest time, but through Tyler's Joseph's/Twenty one pilots music I have found my self regretting all my wrong doings and have been begging for forgiveness. Now I feel free and I know that God has forgiven all of my sins and loves me.
Twenty One Pilots and their music has strengthened my relationship with God. I began to struggle with my faith, but I remember being able to relate to Tyler's lyrics and realising that I'm not the only one who felt the same way. And through that, I found my way back to God and I couldn't be more happy with where I am now. :)

As an atheist myself, I can see why some people say they don't like it, seeing as they can't relate, but to not respect something that means everything to someone else and they're beliefs is slightly arrogant and naive. Though the message might not mean anything to you, it means something to someone and there's a clear message to it, so that should be respected.

Haz I may be a christian, but i have nothing against people with different beliefs (unless they try to re-educate me). I may have a strong belief in jesus as our savior and son of god, but if I'm told by someone that they don't believe the same thing, I'm willing to admit that I might be wrong because; 1: We know very little.
2: There's a difference between high faith and stuborness.
I am a non-Christian Clique member myself, (not atheist though), and I can find something lyrically to relate to in every single song sung by Tyler. Including this one. I think that if more people truly listened to the words of any song like this or any song by TOP, they will find something that means something to them. They just need to be open about it. I for one am so very happy that Tyler found God again and was saved, because now I get to hear his music and words. I wouldn't have that gift in my life if not, and I certainly wouldn't be here today if not. I liked this song.

Just to share a testemony: a friend of mine were in depression and about to kill himself. I showed him Jesus. He didn't believe... but now he's fixing the relationship with his family and very happier about life. When he told me it was because of the things I told him and that he knew that with Jesus in his heart he would be happier (although he hasn't asked Him to live in his heart yet) I just started singing this song... "God... You are good... oh God... You are SO good"... God really is SO GOOD... He shows us mercy and grace when we don't deserve and gives us second chances. He gives us happiness through chaos and peace through storms... I had to share the testemony to let y'all know how good my God is... Please, christian brothers and sisters, pray for my friend to really have a meeting with Jesus. Thank You Lord for You've already saved me...
This is beautiful. But remember that no one asks Jesus to live in our hearts. It's complicated. We can decline it, but we can't bring Jesus to us on our own. The Holy Spirit does it for us.
If your friend has simply believed in Jesus’s sacrifice and accepted His grace, your friend has been saved dw
Tell him to repent of all his sins and put his faith in Jesus. The Holy Spirit works in him this way. Also touch on his morality and why it is so skewed and where morality comes from. Talk to them about why we yearn for live we don’t know, and peace we can’t find on our own. Tell him to look at all other people work to save themselves and they still feel empty. Above all show this with love. Faith comes by hearing. God will get him. I will pray too.

I actually cried whenever Tyler did that part of it. Twenty Øne Piløts is my favorite band, but that's not why. The lyrics are just amazing. That part of it is so powerful and well written. I'm in love with this song, because it helps me to fall even deeper in love with Jesus. Beautiful.

Ive had this on repeat all day. Gods presence is here so strong right now. Annointed song and annointed video. My wofe and I were weeping. Weve been walking through struggles this last year with abuse my wife faced in her past and been battling the enemy hardcore. The lyrics are hitting us as hard as the video is. God is bringing the dead to life in her heart amd restoring what the enemy stole. We are weary but He is strong and victorious, fighting for us and loving us with his never ending, never stopping, always and forever love. We will persevere and be victorious. With man it is impossible. But with God all things are possible.

Clark, yes, that is exactly the reason. I debated whether or not to use this particular image since it is almost irreverent, however, that's the point of what Christ did on the cross....the most glorious being in all of reality BECAME sin....my prayer is that this image will help us feel a bit more the jarring horror of the cross and the infinite depths of God's love in Christ
This is 7 years later, but I'm convicted to say this God help me. Christ did not become corrupt in His nature, but what is meant when it stated that "He who knew no sin became sin on our behalf" is that Christ bore the legal guilt of sin on our behalf, not that He became corrupt, so the last line of the first paragraph is wrong, it sounds nitpicking, but this is not right
The very last image got to me. That was me, in times of my life. If I wax my arms, the scars seem to flare up, but I never got true release and relief from harming until Christ made me new. I felt so dirty, but His endless compassion is beyond comprehension and I am so grateful for Him...

Also--regarding your comment on "The Name of God" and how you like the videos set to songs more than those set to spoken scripture--I definitely hear you on that. And my wife agrees with you ;) She likes the song-based ones better. I plan to continue to create a combination of song and spoken-scripture based animations in the future, so, just hold on a bit longer and you'll see--Lord willing--more of both styles....Thanks for the comments and testimony!

I remember when i was on the ambulance to the mental hospital the ambulancr guy showed me this song and tols me a lot about God. He told me his brother knew the guy that was rapping. We had a full on conversation. I was 12 and I knew stuff. I wasn't Christian or anything but I used to go to church with my best friends. Im so grateful he showed me this song. 1 month later from when we showed me this song I still remember half of the words. Only 2nd time listening to it. 💖

How amazing of the Lord to meet you through that ambulance worker and this song when you were in such a difficult place....I hope your mind and heart experienced some healing since you first heard this music....I hope also that you’ve tasted something of the beauty of God and His love in Christ for you and have come to embrace Him as your Lord and your Life.
