      Greetings from another tank crew ex-member (long time ago... 1989), in the Spanish Cavalry Corp as first corporal and charger (I think it is the correct equivalent in the U. S. Army... Sorry, but my English is not very good). The tank was a French design AMX 30, but built and ensambled in Spain under license. Great remembrances from that time.
      What kind of tanks did you served in your country?.

      The Leopard 1A5 DK-1 was retired for many years (10+ i believe) at this point. Im guessing these were "old" (Leo 1 trained) soldiers reenacting this "open hearth" military show for civilians (its not a real military exercise were you bring your a game).

      @mclarensteve3121 Před 5 lety +1

      There's a 'pistol port' on the left side of the turret to throw the spent cases out. In reality, on just about any range, the cases are kept onboard to save having to pick them all up later. The problem with having them all over the floor is that they can foul the turret traverse

      During these live fire tests they usually just fire a few rounds and pick them up after and dont leave them on the dry flammable moor. Been attending a few of these live firing events and sometimes they have to stop because the moor caught fire from the shell impacts.

      Some guns are electrically fired which require a glove to protect the primer from static electricity. But I’m pretty sure the L7 is percussion fired, so it’s probably just for comfort with the metal. I was in the artillery for a while and we weren’t allowed to wear gloves because of the risk of getting jammed in the breach... so either way I’m surprised he’s wearing them

    Denmark does not have a Leopard 1 A5 but only 1 A4 and Leopard 2. The square tower on the Leopard 1 is always an A3 or A4. An A1, A2 or A5 has a round turret, while the A2 and A5 have additional armor.

      @MikalHjortby  Před 3 lety +2

      Actually denmark got the leopard 1A3 in 1973, then it was upgraded to 1A5 in 1993 shortly before Deployment to Tuzla in Bosnia, it then during the mission in former yugoslavia upgraded again in 1997 to Leopard 1A5-DK1. The Leopard 1 ended it’s active service in 2003 and was replaced by Leopard 2A5. Which just has been upgraded to A7 now.. and it’s not the turret shape that defines the upgrade.
      I did my service on the Leopard 1A5. And also deployed to bosnia in the leopard, So I should know 😉
      Otherwise if you wish to learn more about the leopards in the danish army. I can recommend this book. www.trackpadpublishing.com/product-page/the-leopard-1-in-danish-service

    Возможности танка не определяются тем, что экипаж сидит на боекомплект и он загружается автоматически, а из-за ряда других технических факторов и боевых систем.
    Обратите внимание на особенности Leopard 1A5: система управления огнём, лазерный дальномер, баллистический вычислитель, прибор ночного видения, стабилизатор пушки, плавность передачи, радиостанцией... ...и пенсии и уровень жизни датских солдат после окончания их службы... Нахуй им нужно ваше высокотехнологичное автоматическое зарядное устройство!

      Как вы думаете, немецкие военные инженеры не могут сконструировать простой вращающийся барабан с АЗ?
      Я не спорю, что лучше. В обоих есть как плюсы, так и минусы! Другое дело, что я имел в виду - почему все россияне готовы определить танк как говно, потому что он без автомат заряжания? Никто не обращает внимания на остальным технические данные и особенности. По этой логике и Армата говно, потому что система наведения состоит из зарубежной электроники, есть импортные детали как телевизионные экраны и телекамер, французские тепловизоры т. д.

    Знаете то, уважаемые товарищи, скажу вам как наводчик орудия танка Т-72. Заряжающий здесь просто камикадзе. Травмоопасносность громаднейшая! Держит снаряд на руках во время движения боевой машины по пересеченной местности - это крайне опасно. А ежели это не полигон, а овраги, ямы, препятствия? Он же снаряд уронит.
    Заряжает на ходу в качающееся орудие. Это вас так американцы научили? Сами они пушку блокируют в положении для заряжания.
    А еще стрелянным гильзам внутри корпуса после выстрела делать нечего. Иначе экипаж задохнётся от остатков пороховых газов через несколько выстрелов.
    Ужас, никакой заботы о военнослужащих!

      Ключевые слова - продувание ствола, вентиляция. Если одни называют это комфортными условиями, то другие - жизненной необходимостью именно по тем причинам, которые Вы назавали. Насчёт уронит снаряд - взрыватель там непростой, не сдетонирует, хоть на пол бросай.

      Все так. Добавлю, что он (заряжающий) уж больно вольготно ведет себя рядом с казенной частью (при заряженном -то орудии). Все ждал, когда его откатом зацепит и увидит он в лучшем случае "небо в алмазах" или "карусель самого себя" , а в худшем-оторванная конечность.
      Но вот про гильзы не согласен. У нас при учебных стрельбах гильзы вообще укладываются обратно в боеукладку (есстестна, когда это позволяют условия) или так и валяются на полике до окончания заезда (и дымят себе такие, сцуки). Это я про 55 и 62. Приходится терпеть.А в 72, да, поддон выкидывается при очередном цикле заряжания.
