Denmark does not have a Leopard 1 A5 but only 1 A4 and Leopard 2. The square tower on the Leopard 1 is always an A3 or A4. An A1, A2 or A5 has a round turret, while the A2 and A5 have additional armor.
Actually denmark got the leopard 1A3 in 1973, then it was upgraded to 1A5 in 1993 shortly before Deployment to Tuzla in Bosnia, it then during the mission in former yugoslavia upgraded again in 1997 to Leopard 1A5-DK1. The Leopard 1 ended it’s active service in 2003 and was replaced by Leopard 2A5. Which just has been upgraded to A7 now.. and it’s not the turret shape that defines the upgrade. I did my service on the Leopard 1A5. And also deployed to bosnia in the leopard, So I should know 😉 Otherwise if you wish to learn more about the leopards in the danish army.

How long charges, looking for shells. I think in real combat conditions, injuries in the loader will be in large quantities, the hand and the case falls under the recoil. And I thought the Leopard-2 is fully combustible cartridge case, and it is stale, metallic.
Sweet times hjortby 😊
Leo 1 kanon holder bare 👍
100% ;)
If someone say "a boxed pancake tank" what's on your mind?
Ja,der Leo hat´s drauf.
Ricocheted
Track hitted
Enemy was hitted
Enemy had been destroyed
Imagine that breach catching your hands if you are not fast enough
kristijan medved nah the mechanism is designed that the shell enters just on the front of the gun, and the hatch closing pushes your hand away from as seen in this video

Didn't know that the Leopard had exposed ammo in the turret
Loader has some room in that turret.
A lot quieter than Abrams inside.
Myself I thought the Loader was a little slow. :)
Gunner24c a retired soldier on a long time ago retired tank besides it’s only for show
Man, with all those rounds inside the turret, I would get caught by a blast if those things cook off after taking a hit.
REKCEP Good thing the closest you’ll ever come to tank combat is playing war thunder then...
