There are many solid proofs
1- Aisha r.a was 10 years younger than her sister asma.
Asma r.a died at the age of 100 in 73 hijra. It means she was 27-28 at the time of hijrah then Aisha was 17-18 at that tine , the marriage took place in 2 hijri .. she was clearly 20..
2- the proposal of Aisha r.a was sent through khaula r.a , why will she take the proposal of child?? . My daughter is 10 years old , I cannot call her woman. She is so innocent and she is a child ..I don't know why these people try to justify this henius act , Quran says clearly to marry woman not children .. being baligh is necessary which is at 17-18 years of age.
3- Aisha r.a was previously engaged ,abu bakr decided to migrate to habsha 8 years before hijri hence asked the family of boy to marry and take the girl , they refused due to some family issues .. so if she was only 6 at the time of marriage how could she be engaged 8 years before hijri ready for marriage .

Answered by Allama Syed Abdullah Tariq: It is widely believed that Hazrat Ayesha’s age was seven years when she was married to the Prophet (Pbuh) and she was 9 when she came to live with him but this is wrong. The fact is that she was 17 when married and 19 at the time of her rukhsati (departure from her home to the husband’s house). There are too many indisputable evidences in favour of this. A few of those are listed below:
1. Imam Waliuddin Muhammad Abdullah Al-Khateeb, the author of famous work on Hadith, namely Mishkaat was also an acknowledged expert of Asma-ur-Rijal (the unique art of research on people). He registered the following about Hazrat Asma at the end of Mishkaat.
“She is Asma, the daughter of Abu Bakr Siddiq...She is the mother of Abdullah Bin Zubair...
She was 10 years older than her sister Ayesha..
.She died at the age of 100 in Makkah in 73AH...”(Mishkaat, Asma-ur-Rijal)
There is unanimity among all the scholars of Asma-ur-Rijal and historians on the above-mentioned facts.
It can be easily computed from above that being 100 years old in 73 AH, Hazrat Asma, daughter of Hazrat Abu Bak’r was at least 27 (100-73) years old at the time of Hijrah of the Prophet (Pbuh). If she died in the beginning of 73 AH, then her age was (100-72) 28 years at Hijrah. It is stated above that she was 10 years older than Hazrat Ayesha. It means Hazrat Ayesha was 18 years old at Hijrah. She came into the Nikah of the Prophet (Pbuh) one year before Hijrah and she shifted to the Prophet’s house two years later. Clearly, she was 17 at the time of nikah and 19 at her rukhsati.
2. The historians have placed Hazrat Ayesha between No. 17 and 20 in the list of those who were earliest to embrace Islam. Ibne Ishaq, the earliest authentic Islamic historian has placed her at No. 18. We also know that Hazrat Umar was the 40th person to embrace Islam and he entered into the faith in the first year of prophet hood. It means Hazrat Ayesha was among those few who embraced Islam almost immediately after the declaration of prophet hood. She must have been at least 5 years old to be categorized in the list of those who embraced Islam. Therefore her age was 18 when Hijrah came about 13 years later.
Examination of Hazrat Ayesha’s biography through accounts of Asma-ur-Rijal reveals that she was 17 when married to the Prophet and 19 when she came to live with him
Now imagine this. The saying goes that she was 7 at her nikah i.e. 8 at Hijrah that occurred 13 years after the declaration of prophethood. If it were true the declaration of prophethood occurred 5 years before her birth. Did she embrace Islam 5 years prior to her birth?
3. There are indications that she was among those who went to war of Badr’ but her presence in the battleground of Uhad is beyond doubt. It is in many authentic books of Hadiths and history that she was among those women in Uhad who were carrying water to the injured Sahaba. Now remember the incident of two young boys Rafe and Samra who were 13 and the Prophet (Pbuh) was not permitting them to join forces for their age but later agreed to their pleading as they were very enthusiastic. If Hazrat Ayesha was 10 when Uhad came about in 2 AH, was it possible that a new bride of 10 would have been permitted while the young boys of 13 were refused permission to go to battle ground of Uhad? On the contrary if she was 18 at Hijrah her age was 20 and fit to take care of the injured in the battlefield when Uhad took place.
There are quite a number of other irrefutable evidences of her age being 19 when she entered into the Prophet’s home 2 years after her Nikah to him.
The wrong notion of her being 7 at marriage is widely accepted (and many Fiqh deductions are erroneously made on its basis) as there is a false report narrated by Hashsham bin Urwah in all the six most authentic collections of Hadith i.e. Sihah-e-Sittah.
Hashsham bin Urwah was a very reliable narrator according to all scholars but this fact skipped the scrutiny of the famous Muhaddiseen of Sihah-e-Sittah that Hashsham became forgetful and unbalanced at his old age when he shifted to Iraq. The said report was narrated by him while he was in Iraq.
Hashsham was the teacher of Imam Malik and he has accepted a number of Hadiths narrated by him in his collection of Hadith, Muatta. It was none other than Imam Malik, Hahsham’s disciple who declared after Hashsham shifted to Iraq that none of his former teachers’ statements were reliable anymore because of his mental condition. The compilers of Sihah-e-Sittah, all being non-Arabs were not aware of it.
Now you know that when Hazrat Ayesha came to the Prophet’s house she was a major. The age difference is still considerable but no law of any land objects to the union of mutual willful consent of two majors. Remember also that the Prophet (pbuh) possessed exceptional health at 53 with all his hair black and he being stronger than most youngsters. Besides he was an ideal husband and the history testifies to his ideal care of his young wife with all the psychological considerations.

If you refer history she was 19 years old at the time of marriage and not 9 as Bukhari says.
According to the biography of Asma her elder sister: Aysha was 10 years younger than Asma.
And at the time of Hijri Asma was 27 years old . The prophet married Aysha 2 years after hijri which makes her 19 years old. (27-10+2=19)

میرے اللہ نے مرغی کو بھی سائنسدان بنایا ہے۔ بچے کا منہ اوپر کی جانب بنتا ہے، اگر تو انڈے کا چپٹا رُخ اوپر رہے تو چوزہ تخلیق کے مراحل کی تکمیل ہوتے ہی اُس بُلبلے سے سانس لیتا ہے، لیکن اس کے پاس مہلت محض اتنی ہوتی ہے کہ وہ آکسیجن کے اس بُلبلے کے ختم ہونے سے پہلے پہلے اپنے خول کو توڑ کر باہر نکلے، باہر آکسیجن کا سمندر اس کے انتظار میں ہوتا ہے۔ چنانچہ اگر وہ اُس بُلبلے کو ہی زندگی سمجھ کر استعمال کرے اور خول کو توڑنے کی کوشش نہ کرتے تو پھر کچھ ہی لمحوں بعد وہ اندر ہی مر جاتا ہے۔
اکثر ایسا بھی ہوتا ہے کہ جب چوزہ خول کو اندر سے توڑ نہیں پاتا تو وہ بولتا اور فریاد کرتا ہے تو ماں باہر سے چونچ مار کر اُس خول کو توڑ دیتی ہے، اور یوں وہ آزاد دنیا میں آ جاتا ہے، مگر یہاں غور طلب بات یہ ہے کہ چوزے کی آزادی کیلئے اُسکی پکار اور فریاد ضروری ھے۔
لہٰذا جو لوگ اِس دنیا کی زندگی ختم ہونے سے پہلے پہلے اپنے گناہ اور نفس کے خول کی گرفت سے آزاد ہو جائیں گے پھر انہیں آخرت میں دائمی زندگی مل جائے گی۔ یہاں ایک بات بہت دلچسپ ہے کہ اللہ اپنے گناہ گار لوگوں سے بہت پیار کرتا ہے وہ چاہتا ہے کہ وہ اُس کے حضور گڑگڑا کے دُعا کریں تاکہ وہ انہیں اُن کے گناہوں کے خولوں سے نکال کر ایمان افروز زندگی میں لے آئے، لیکن بات وہی ہے کہ گناہوں کے بخشش کیلئے اللہ کو پکارنا اور دُعا کرنا ضروری ہے۔
یقیناً جو لوگ اللہ تعالیٰ کی راہ میں تکلیفیں اور مشقتیں برداشت کرتے ہیں، پھر اللہ بھی انہیں صراطِ مستقیم پر لانے اور اُن کی آخرت سنوارنے کیلئے راہنمائی فراہم کرتا ہے۔

I personally believe that somwhere someone has put this into the books on purpose so they can humiliate our beloved Prophet. بی بی عائشہ کی بڑی بہن اسما بی بی عائشہ سے دس سال بڑی تھیں اور وہ سنہ 75 ہجری میں فوت ہوئیں اور وفات کے وقت ان کی عمر پورے 100 سال تھی یعنی جب ہجرت ہوئی تو وہ 25 سال کی تھیں کیونکہ بی بی عائشہ دس سال چھوٹی تھیں تو ہجرت کے وقت ان کی عمر 15 سال بنتی ہے اور ان کا نکاح رسول اللہ سے 2 ہجری کو ہوا اس حساب سے نکاح کے وقت ان کی عمر 17 سال بنتی ہے بخاری کی روایت کے مطابق نکاح 5 سال کی عمر میں اور رخصتی 9 سال کی عمر میں ہوئی مگر درایت کے حساب سے 17 سال کی عمر بنتی ہے

Minimum age for a baligh in any culuture at any time is 14, 15 or 16 never 9. Nowadays it varies as 16 in some countries 18 and 21 in others.

That our dear Prophet took her as a wife when she was 9, is a lie and ridiculous and absurd. The story comes only from a bogus and a junk Hadith from Ibne Hisham, who was not a scholar of Islam.
There is nothing in the pre-Islam pagan Arab culture to show that the Arabs gave their little daughters to older men.
Those who accept that absurd hadith should be ashamed of themselves.
Ayesha was born in 605. Prophet was born in 570. Prophet married Ayesha when he was 53. It means he married her in 623. So, Ayesha was 623-605 = 18 years old. So simple!
How can one believe in that ridiculous hadith of Ibne Hisham and defend the silly assumption that he consummated his marriage with her when she was 9?
If the Prophet had take n Ayesha to bed when she was 9, it would have become Sunnah for all Muslims. And Muslims would be marrying 9 year old girls merrily.

No being 19 makes a hell lot of a difference regardless of the man's age and it is not a matter of choice. It is simple math. If you put the pieces of the puzzle together then she was much older and an adult not a child. Accepting her older age not diminish Hazrat Ayesha's respect at all, in fact it restores the false impressions we have projected about our beloved Prophet Sallalahu Alehe Wassalum.

You're leaving your own authentic & reliable Islamic Imams & their institutions of early generations(Sahabas, tabain, tabe-tabain) who spend their lifetime to protect, transmit the true knowledge & their works: only to please the westerners or today's standards? Prophetﷺ was just married(more proper word in today's sense is "engaged" or "betrothed") to Hazrat Aishaؓ when she was "six" & did not *consumated* the marriage until she reached the age of puberty. It is one of the most authentic & reliable hadith from various sources & especially from Hazrat Aisha herself. It was the common practice of that time; we can confirm such marriage from Holy Qur'an too where Allah said, "O believers! If you marry believing women and then divorce them before you touch them(i.e., Consummated the marriage), they will have no waiting period for you to count, so give them a ˹suitable˺ compensation, and let them go graciously."﴾Quran 33:49﴿ that's what Hazrat Aishaؓ said, that He consummated the marriage after she attained puberty at the age of nine & it is scientifically & historically proven tht it was the common age of marriages & puberty that time. It is hinted in many ahadith too. Moreover, the point emphasized abt the "woman" fr marriage, Hazrat aisha herself said, "إِذَا بَلَغَتِ الْجَارِيَةُ تِسْعَ سِنِينَ فَهِيَ امْرَأَةٌ" translated "A young girl become women after reaching the age of nine."(Tirmidhi 1109) She was well aware & a grown *woman* that time according to her only at age nine, it was the common age of puberty that time as their life expectancy was low & they used to live in hot climate of arabia and ofc *puberty* is the condition in Islam for consuming the marriage. Hence, Qur'an actually supports the act of Prophetﷺ & it was no fabrication by any scholar these hadiths were taken from. If you still reject the authentic transmission of hadiths which clearly states the facts & believes in your self-desires or twisted puzzles you wanna stay happy in then you're being dishonest & unislamic. May Allah make it easy for you to see & accept the truth.

آج کے جدید دور میں لوگ اپنی عمر اپنے فائدے کے لئے کم زیادہ کر لیتے ہیں اور بظاہر کسی کی عمر کا حتمی اندازہ لگانا بھی مشکل ہںوتا ہںے تو اُس دور میں کسی کی عمر کا حتمی فیصلہ کیسے کیا جا سکتا تھا۔ نبی کریم کا ہر اقدام سوچا سمجھا ہںوتا تھا کیونکہ دشمن اسلام اور منافقین موجود تھے جو تنقید کا کوئی موقع ہاتھ سے جانے نہیں دیتے تھے ۔اس لئے یہ سب بکواس ہںے کہ حضرت عائشہ کی نکاح پر عمر 6 اور رخصتی پر 9 سال تھی۔ ایسا ہںو ہںی نہیں سکتا مولوی حضرات عقل کے اندھوں کی طرح پتہ نہیں اس پر کیوں اصرار کرتے ہیں اور غیر مسلموں کو تنقید کا موقع فراہںم کرتے ہیں ۔ قرآن مجید میں اگر اس کا ذکر ہںوتا تو تمام مسلمان مان لیتے۔اس لئے مولوی حضرات کو ہںوش کے ناخن لینے چاہںیے ۔

You are generally logical and rational in your research and analysis but here with respect to the age of Ayesha at marriage you too blindly accept the opinion/narration of single Narator- Hisham bin Urwa who during his last years of life opined/commented on age of Ayesha in Araq after 141 AH when he had lost his memory and even wrongly reported his own wife's 13 8nsyead of 23..All other evidences go against this single person's narration.The problem arises from the fact that the narrator being Suhabi has been accepted by Bukharin,Muslim and others.The narrator never talked about the matter during his stay at Madina upto his 71 years stay..When his mental health got distracted in Kofa, during his last two years,he talked about it. When tender age boys below fifteen are neither made custodian of their property,nor allowed to participate in battlefield,how come a young girl could be consented for marriage or made master of dower/Mehr property and participate in Jangi Badr/Uhad. Compare Verses 3 and 6 of Surah Alnisas.

The Qur'an is the first book in the world which lays great stress on the use of the brain, but the Muslims, without any proper research, are adamant on the disabled evidence found from other books, majority of Muslims have taken out their brains and kept them in the boxes. Just what their Hazrat or Baba said is the final word and should not be questioned, Hazrat Ayesha's age at the time of her Nikah was about 17 years and 18 to 19 years at the time of her Ruksti. There are plenty of evidences which can easily prove the age of Hazrat Ayesha (RA) from (Asma o Rijal) a collection of biographies of hadith narrators, but these peoples are not ready to listen and firmed on the words what they assume are correct.
Point is they cannot say Sahi Sitta is UNAUTHENTIC....BUT THEY CAN INSULT OUR PROPHET.....Ask these Mullas to stop Supporting Sahi Sitta......Mirza please stop Supporting your Baaby... *you are not Eilmi only Kitabi* Stop Supporting Babaee Mirza

I hate to discuss issues rather then i always wish to act precisely on the right order from Allah . I always choose Quran frist above all books as Allah is protecting it and will protect it .

19 years of age instead of 9 will make hell of difference. If age was 19 then intelligent and knowledgeable people like Ali bhai would not be struggling too much to prove that marriage with little girl in this case was ok. Engineering on this topic does not work very well.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ کی عمر کا مسئلہ کے پیچھے مسلمان کو لگا دیا گیا ہے کسی کو نماز پڑھنی آئے نہ آئے اس معاملہ پر بحث ضرور کرتا ہے شرم نہیں آتی ان کو کہ ان کو اپنی اور اپنے بچوں کی عمر کا تو پتہ نہیں ہوتا اور بحث کرتے ہیں چودہ سو پہلے پیدا ہونے والے لوگوں کی عمروں کی ۔

رسول خداؐ کی زندگی کے تین حصہ ہیں:
1۔ ولادت سے بعثت تک 40 سال اس پیریڈ کو عام الفیل کہتے ہیں۔ 1 عامل الفیل جب ابرہہ نے خانہ کعبہ پر حملہ کیا تھا اسی سال حضرتؐ کی ولادت ہوئی تھی۔
2۔ بعثت سے ہجرت 13 سال
1 بعثت یعنی وہ سال جب آپ نے اپنی نبوت اعلان کیا تھا اور 13 سال مکہ میں رہے۔
3۔ ہجرت سے رحلت تک 10 سال کا عرصہ
ہجرت یعنی جب آپ مکہ سے ہجرت کرکے مدینہ آئے اب ہجرت سال کے 1444 سال گذرچکے۔
انہیں سالوں کے ذریعہ ہم سمجھیں گے حضرت عائشہ کی ولادت کب ہوئی شادی کب ہوئی
پہلا پوائینٹ
اب پہلے حضرت عائشہ کی ولادت کی تاریخ نکالتے ہیں:
ابو نعیم اصفہانی، ابن عساکر، طبرانی، ابن اثیر جیسے بڑے علما کہتے ہیں:
جناب عائشہ کی بڑی بہن اسماء بنت ابی بکر ان سے 10 سال بڑی تھیں اور ہجرت کے پہلے سال میں انکی عمر 27 سال تھی۔
تو اس طرح اگر ہجرت سے پہلے بعثت کے 13 سال کم کریں تو پہلی تو پہلی بعثت میں :
اسماء کی عمر 14 سال تھی۔
اور حضرت عائشہ جو ان سے 10 سال چھوٹی تھیں انکی عمر 4 سال تھی۔
دوسرا پوایئنٹ:
صحیح بخاری کی روایت کے مطابق حضرت عائشہ کتہی ہیں کہ رسول خداؐ کے ساتھ ان کا نکاح حضرت خدیجہ کی وفات کے تین سال بعد ہوا۔
حضرت خدیجہ کی وفات 10 بعثت میں ہوئی تو اس طرح نکاح 13 بعثت میں ہوا۔
اس اعتبار سے
حضرت عائشہ کی عمر 13 بعثت میں نکاح کے وقت 17 سال کی تھی۔
اب
ابن ملقن اس روایت کو نقل کرنے کے بعد استدلال کرتے ہیں:
رسولؐ خدا شوال 2 ہجری کو حضرت عائشہ کو اپنے گھر لیکر آئے۔
اس طرح ان کی رخصتی 19 سال میں ہوئی۔
تو ثابت ہوتا ہے کہ شادی کے وقت حضرت عائشہ کی کم سے کم عمر 19 سال تھی۔
پوائینٹ 2:
بلاذری کہتے ہیں:
جناب خدیجہ کے بعد رسول خداؐ نے جناب سودہ شادی کی تھی
اور حضرت عائشہ کی شادی چار ہجری میں ہوئی تھی۔
کیونکہ بلاذری کے مطابق جناب خدیجہ کے بعد رسول خدا نےہجرت سے کچھ مہینہ پہلے سودہ بنت زمعہ سے شادی کی تھی۔
اور پھر چار سال کے بعد حضرت عائشہ سے شادی کی:
تو ان کی شادی عمر 21 سال ہوئی۔
اس طرح یہ ثابت ہوتا ہے کہ
حضرت عائشہ کی شادی کی کم سے کم عمر 19 سال اور زیادہ سے زیادہ 23 سال تھی۔
تیسرا پوائنٹ:
اگر حضرت عائشہ کی وفات کے لحاظ سے دیکھیں تو بھی انکی شادی کی عمر 6 سال نہیں ہوتی ہے:
کیونکہ ان کی وفات 57 یا 58 ہجری میں 70 سال کی عمر میں ہوئی تھی۔
اس طرح 13 بعثت میں نکاح کے وقت انکی عمر 12 یا 13 سال کی تھی نہ کہ 6 سال۔
پواینٹ 4
وہ روایتیں جن میں جناب عائشہ نے اپنی نکاح کی عمر بتائی ہے وہ کسی میں چھ سال ہے اور کسی میں ساتھ سال ہے۔ تو انمیں خود تناقض ہے۔
ایک اوربات
جس روایت میں چھ سال کا تذکرہ ہے اسے ہشام بن عروہ نے نقل کیا ہے جس کو اہلسنت کے چار اماموں میں سے ایک امام مالک سچا نہیں مانتے ہیں اور اس سے راضی نہیں ہیں۔
تو اس طرح کے راوی سے روایت کو قبول نہیں کرسکتے ہیں۔
