Traxxas backslash GTR shock install "PROJECT LOONEY"

Today project looney, the Traxxas backslash 4x4, gets new GTR shocks.
these are cheaper than proline powerstrokes which is why I went with them.
hopefully these will hold the extra weight of the system and battery

Hey, cool build, I'm building one at the moment also. What brand are those guards you have on your A arms protecting the bottom of your shocks?

Those are actually arm guards for the Traxxas stampede but they also bolt up to the slash arms.
If you want to, you can also use shock shaft guards, they are an aftermarket spring perch that guards your shock shafts from rocks and debris. I don't have them installed on this build because they do not fit the Traxxas GTR shocks that I'm using. They will however fit stock and Traxxas Big bore shocks.
