- Some time ago my DBforgoods channel was deleted for violating copyright. As most of the videos had no problems, I decided to repost some that I haven't seen around. Many of them were extracted from episodes of the Old Grey Whistle Test, posted by a You Tube channel that unfortunately no longer exists. My gratitude to the person who made these historical archives available.
Just hard-rock gods. I am glad that I lived in the time of this music. No one will ever surpass them in life.I thank them very much for their music, which accompanies me to this day.❤
i think they were more than hard rock, i hear funk, soul, r& b. just great.
excellent group!
Long Gone is my fav, with the funky bass and Bobby throwing his head back so we can see ALL his fillings. so good!
Another blast from the past. Glad I got to see them live.
Mick Moody is the Best Slide guitarist I've ever seen or heard .
Never seen Duane Allman then?
Saw them in 1974 in Germany supporting Status quo. What a show. Mick is a true wizzard, just think of his work with Willy Finlayson and Nigel Portman Smith.
Very nice
Now there is a name from the past. Saw them once; they opened for Sore Throat at The Newmarket in Hammersmith in 1978. Ye Gods, I remember 1978 - I must be getting old! 🙂
Sore Throat? More a symptom surely?
they had broken up by 1975
@@barrybanks4824 No; just checked my 7" singles collection; Zombie Rock was 1978, Kamikaze Kid was 1979
the post was about snafu my mistake
Sore Throat. That's a name that takes me back a bit.
👍
Interesting to watch but I really to understand why folk like slide guitar
Mick Moody 💥💥💥💥!!!
Pete Solley ended up with Fox and a hit single. Shame they were so crap. As for Snafu three great albums all consistently good.
Agreed. I have the first two, need to get a copy of the third.
