Erm bro did u take the burger quest before u kill the boss cuz u need to have the quest when u kill him
for ppl (including myself) who lost the gemstone bc of glitches we should get compensated for what we lost
fr, plus kur added the third npc for what, is not even part of the cid quest but an extra. in my opinion they should make it that the npc can infinitely give u the cursed gem, AND ONLY THE ONE WHO SPAWN IT GETS IT

Cid is probably the best pve spec with the z move since you can get around a mil u shards per hours at the curses

go to altair boss and spawn it with uCoins + 5 swords (the common one), make sure you put those swords in item inventory menu
It took me an hour cuz i had my friend give me the items but Killing shadow was horrific
