I’m Australian and Steven has the strongest Aussie accent I’ve ever heard but it’s also with an occasional sprinkling of British thrown in it’s so unusual 😂

Ikr! Like, one moment it is by far the most aussie accent I've ever heard (What is it with idols from NSW having the strongest accents ever?) but even then he uses just enough British pronunciation to throw me off

To add my insight into the british sounding bit of his accent. Many of my friends (including me) get confused for having british-sounding australian accents. - We're from Sydeny as well. I think it just depends on your school/education/area in sydney you grew up in. I would say the more inner-city schools have posher sounding accents (more british) so maybe that could be a reason? just my thoughts
