    A lot of heat in a primarily oil/air cooled motor with lax tolerances vs water cooled. Plus the motor was not designed from the ground up for a turbo. This is a race motor and durability is probably only 5,000 miles before an overhaul.

      ohh with me riding it about 3 hours friend of mine had a 124 race only motor with nitrous and it lasted close to 10k miles so id say thats a win. the thing was scary fast

      @@UnrulyRider well so taking a cruiser bike and installing a turbo to get the performance of a stock supersport bike is super high IQ especially considering that there is turbo in the side which takes out its nice and sleeper look and did I mention death wobbles ?

    What cool group of guys. Very impressive to take a bike that is brand new and completely fabricate a power upgrade from scratch. Always wanted a Harley but nevet got around to taking my motorcycle license course.

    And then you goto put the high Oct fuel in as well ,that things gonna be a monster . A lot don't understand racing temp of engine and ambient air in the combustion. Look at F1 cars and they are seized until they run hot oil through it first

    What is the explanaition for the increase with the new sparkplugs ? A large flamefront ? Would dual plugs do even more ?

      Mike Skidmore v-Max’s are factory supercharged, that has two more cylinders to help make that power.

      @@taylorgtrotter Stock V-Max is not Supercharged they had some air scoops.. that opned @ 6,000 RPM the older ones have 1200 CC's the newer ones are 1689 CC's or so .. yes they are a V-4

      Not sure what they used I used E's in my build didnt get 20 hp but saw a 8hp gain 114 RKS to S&S 128 ci my numbers 134hp 153 tq plenty for me

      @@RayanMufti No; Rayan in your case just get the stock heat range E 3 plugs I ve ran them for 5 years in a Stage one 103 Heritage I own aswell as my Roadking the stock E3 plugs have a safe heat range the plugs have what is called direct fire down in the center of the plug thats where Hp gains are made due to the hotter or direct fire but stock E3"s heat range its safe for stock motors the E3 hot plug is more aggressive builds such as this one so just ask counterman or lady for stock E 3s for your model of bike 😎👊

    I’d just be scared because everything is one off. You can’t just buy replacement parts. I have a built 3 rotor rx7 and I don’t even drive it because it’s so hard to get the parts I need if something breaks. It’s cool to take to car shows but man I don’t even get up on the 2step anymore bc I can’t afford $10k for another billet setup

    This is cool but it sucks it takes such a high displacement motor and a turbo to reach numbers that most 1000cc bikes are doing now out of the factory. Hell my 1290R is 177 out of the box and the new Ducati’s are in the 200+ range. I had a 2013 V rod with a trash turbo and was getting almost 200 but for the cost of the bike and kit it just wasn’t worth it.

    The engine does not care what kind of air it breaths ,,, but yes can make more HP with denser cooler air ..
    E-85 Gasohol would gain you another 15% HP and may be way cheaper than racing gas..
    Expended wasted gasses ?? Normally dyno rooms have a hose to put over the exhaust to vent exhaust gasses out of the building..

      roberto romo E85 is growing in popularity on many fronts. You could run this bike on 11.5:1 compression and throw the turbo on it with e85 and it would run just fine (assuming it’s tuned correctly) and make gobs of power while doing so

    128CI turbo only 200 horsepower? This is honestly sad. My 80 CI vrod makes 140 horse. Maybe try a different motor

    Here you go, a bike with 200hp you can actually ride off the showroom floor for $20,000. What good is an FXDR with 200hp? Suspension like a dump truck, handling if a skate board with steel roller-skate wheels, brakes from a model T, whoopee fcken chit.

      Wook On Wheels 2 cylinders vs 4. Engine built for cruising vs engine built for high end performance. Air/oil cooled vs water cooled. Dohc vs pushrods. Comparing the two is apples to oranges

    This is very sad considering a woods cam in a 128ci bike makes around 160. Truly sad to make 200 horse with boost. Some seriously reputable engine builders when they don't even know to change the plugs. Add boost gotta change plugs and tighten gap guys come on. Lol at this video.

      Baggerz Anonymous it’s not built or intended for peak power like a race motor. It’s adding the performance with the reliability to last years. 200 is plenty for a street bike

      A couple of current Super Bikes make 200rwhp and 90 rwtq on certain dynos. Common guys....

      Most bikes do not make 200hp stock, only the high end superbikes, which means ur comparing 5 bikes, ducati, bmw, yamaha, kawi(2 bikes in their line up), that come with 200hp from the factory. And then saying all of them do. In reality 90% of curiser bikes which is what Harleys are dont make more than 120hp. Its like you are comparing a formula 1 car to a rolls royce. They are completely different, so then making a rolls royce with say 1000hp would be crazy
