There's no magic solution to this. The sterilizer *needs* electricity, so you could run a generator, or do without until grid power is restored.

Does pump push or suck water through filters? What is recommended??
Pump always pushes water through a filter system. Any standard domestic pressure pump will work with this system.

Hello, We have a 5000 gallon system with 9 filters including two UV Light Filters. The system is two years old. Although there is some debris in the tanks it doesn't appear to be excessive but I do plan to clean the tanks when the rain season starts in a couple months. Problem I'm having is we've noticed a slight yellow tint to the water. I just tested the water and everything is fine and there is no iron in the system. Any idea why the water would be coming out a little yellowish? I change the pre-filter every two months and the post filter every 6. The pre-filter gets changed this month and the post filter in two months. Below are all the filters we have in order and here is a link to the play list that shows the system.
