    Where are you guys from? Idk why I thought Michigan. I should be driving up to STM this week to pick both mine up. Found out they're only 2 hrs away, and we're going to wv next weekend.

    I have a 1000k I let mr.rpm tune mine and come to find out I looked at what he did and he took all the weights off and it was by far the best and the strongest my renegade have been

      When tuning a Cvt it it important to load the engine, you may find adding weight back in will help keep the motor in peak hp/torque range.

    I'm very interested in this clutch setup. Is it worth going for if you have 28 inch tires?

      My brother runs a full stm on his xxc with 28" tires. Makes a huge difference once tuned 👍

    What secondary spring you running?

    Hello hoping u can help out. Was wondering What number rpm does it engage at in high and what does it ngage in when your in low? When I installed mine it engaged at 1600rpms after 2 or 3 rides now it engages at 2400rpms in high and 1800rpms in low. Just curious what you are engaging at. Thanks in advance

    • @MuddinForParts
      @MuddinForParts  Před 2 lety

      My engagement is 2200 rpm with a white spring and spacer. keep in mind springs will break in and your engagement will go up due to spring fatigue. if it gets to high you may want to consider installing the spacer stm provides.

    • @shawnvega8232
      @shawnvega8232 Před 2 lety +1

      Thanks for the info. I couldn't imagine the spring breaking in so quickly honestly. I have a orange spring in mine. But again I have a sportsman so I'm sure things are a little different

    • @MuddinForParts
      @MuddinForParts  Před 2 lety

      @@shawnvega8232 adding weight to your dog's will change the engagement as well. More tip weight stalls the engagement of the spider. But that shouldn't change from riding it so I'd bet on the spring. You can however reduce the engagement by shifting weight down your dog's. Keep in mind this will change your shift out etc.

      Unfortunately I am unexperinced with the clutches and would not even attempt to mess around with it and Unfortunately in my area New Jersey I cant seem to find any shop or anywhere remotely close that deals with STM or wants to attempt to look at it. I actually regret getting them and wish I went with another option
