I don't know why the algorithm suggested this but I'm so happy it did. This gave me late 90s/early 2000s music video vibes and I literally could not be more appreciative! The song and the visual combined = chef's kiss. Very much needed these days.

i started listening to beabadoobee when i was 16 years old in 2019, i fell in love with ‘loveworm’ and ‘disappear’ and ‘you lie all the time’ were my fav tracks. i went on to listen to her other EPs at the time! in 2020 when ‘fake it flowers’ came out i was really low and in a bad place but listening to her songs was everything to me. when she announced her concerts then i never brought tickets because i didn’t think id be here to see her live. i recovered and looked after myself and got into uni, in 2022 when she had her ‘rough trade’ gig - i got to go and i was so shy but i got her vinyl and had it signed and i got to meet her and it was everything to me. i saw her later that year at brixton o2 academy which was insane!! now im going to see her again at ‘all points east festival’ in august and im going to be turning 21 - i just wanted to say how much i love her and her music!! you’re an inspiration to so many people and im so glad ive discovered your music and how much it helped me get through so much. can’t wait so many more songs :)

I am so impressed right now, this is the first time I hear an artist sounding so much like my childhood singer Vanessa Paradis, in her 2007 album Divinidylle. This sounds so much similar to maybe a few songs. The song "L'incendie" in particular I think. This is amazing.

This is so y2k and I love it! Glad she’s back😍. Also I might be off but when I saw the title of the track I instantly thought of an Apple and the Adam and Eve story. So with the lyrics and the video I feel like the song is about wanting to go back into a situation that isn’t good for you or “forbidden” but you can’t help but want to do it all over again maybe because u still love the person or you want that experience back good or bad. In context with the video: the first shot with the car is intact and then when she does it all over again there’s fire, chaos and the car is wrecked and boys are getting arrested in the background. Could be a symbolism of how the relationship has turned sour/toxic but she’d do it again. Lastly, it kind of reminded me of Coldplay the scientist video except instead of walking backwards she’s in a loop. Genius!
