In a capitalist system, workers are seen as expendable. The company that is digging this tunnel has barely even made any statements about this disaster and isn't doing anything to try to rescue these people.
This is near the Himalayas. And that region is known for landslides. Rescue operation is on.

They are doing nothing...and if they did something quickly and if it results to any kind of mishaps and some workers get injured or even die...these are the same people who will come and say "oh why didn't they plan carefully before doing it, they kniw nothing ".
