Totally agree. The way he interacts with the crowd is absolutely priceless. You can't teach that to most performers. He has chemistry in spades. Absolutely love this song having spent several years in SC back in the 1990s. This is one of his songs that the crowd just can't keep from joining in. Clarence's nephew Jake is just plain AWESOME.

In Sydney in 1985 I bought for a ridiculous amount a scalpers ticket for a great seat. It was and to this day the best money I have ever spent in my life.
When I was 4 years old (I'm 37 today), mine took the album and showed me Music Born In USA. Now I have a beautiful girl with 2 years and today I was thrilled when I put this video, she sat in front of the TV, without blinking looked, got up and started dancing! My father no longer lives, but he would be happy! Thrilled, I took my girl in my arms and said, This is The Boss, dare and enjoy!
Lovely. I will try this with my 2 year old grandson. He loves music, kids songs, is always dancing with me. Also my 1 year old granddaughter, same. Never tried 'my' music, always kid songs. Will play one of my DVD's and see if they love it as grandmama does.

The concerts were epic. If you haven't been, you need to go. The early concerts in the 80's were 4hours of pure joy. Crowd participation was a must, what a party 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
I saw him live in 2010 and it was about 4 to 5 hours. He still plays as long. Best concert I’ve been to in my life. Incredible show man with soooo much passion.

I was thirteen in 78’ and that’s when I became aware of Bruce Springsteen, Darkness on the edge of town was a new release at the time and “Candy’s room” was my favorite song. When the River album came out it blew me away and to this day it is probably my favorite Bruce album. Born in the U.S.A. Came out when I was 19 and Bruce finally got the respect and attention he deserves. The Boss is the man and this live cut is just absolutely awesome!A legendary artist backed by a legendary band. Does not get much better than that!

Darlington County, South Carolina stand up!! Got to see Bruce place this in North Carolina in March 2023. The highlight of the show for me!

I've seen the Band 5 times (nothing in comparison to some).. always the "nosebleeds" - but man do they make you feel as if you are right down on the floor with them. I can never sleep after a Bruce concert

I got quite close to the front for this. It was a festival set so there was no "Bruce pit" to compete for. Took my 15 y/o son and although he liked it he didn't love it. I bloody did though. My 6th of now 9 shows and ranks right up there. God i miss these nights

more then 30 years ago, my brother played one of his songs for me. i said his voice sounds like he swalled razor blades, i said that about bob dylan too. boy was i young and stupid. today i consider thunder road my favorite son. thanks for the songs bruce, and not letting us down as a singer, writter and great mentor for your artists. my brother has been gone a while now but i still think of him when i hear the boss.
