what did u do after round 8 when she stops showing every round? alternate between the 3 dch chain 1 and the sch chain 3?

Why do I always end up with 94 chains after the 2nd round?? Lol am I missing something 😅
You might be increasing by accident
On the third round of the strap, do you single crochet into the back loop only of the straps? Or the whole stitch?
would you be able to do more than 4 rounds for the base, if you want to have the bag bigger? Would it be too much to do about 6-7 rounds instead?
I just finished up a bag using this pattern but I did eight round for the base and increased the rows upward, it looks just as pretty 😊

I’m up to the handles but I’m confused about the yellow stitch markers… what are they for? You only seem to use the blue ones for reference? Great video up to this point though, thanks!

How can you keep handles from stretching? Every time I make a tote like this and I place items in the tote and carry it the handles stretch.
I always make 2 straps, one just the regular width and the other just a bit thinner. Then I put a piece of fabric between those 2 straps and at last I sew the straps together. That's how I do it but another way to stop your strap from stretching is to use a different kind of yarn like cotton yarn. I always use acrylic yarn since they're cheaper tho.
I always use a smaller hook and tighter tension

I did and used a smaller hook just remember the project will come out smaller. I made it for my 2.5 year old to play with

Will 5mm yarn rather than 2 strands work for this?
i think something is missing at @9:10. at the end of round 4 we reach the stitch marker and place the 2 single crochet where the stitch marker was then what? you pointed to the other 2 stitch markers and said two single crochet in each, but how do we get there? and when you came back for round 5 your piece is bigger. please answer i'm very confused.

Really hard to follow. Marker marker marker marker, I'm like WHAT MARKER!!!! Show me what stitch you are going into because it's just crazy saying go into marker when there are so many markers.. I pulled out my work and moving in to find another pattern.

Actually i hate markers too...somewhere along the way i think i made a mistake but i continued on and somehow i still got it right...if i made a mistake it did not show ...it is a good and easy pattern once you get out of the oval base 😊
