I did not know much about the Mahabharat, only the basics and getting to read it from a female's perspective?! I wouldn't have it any other way. We get to know what Draupadi must've felt, her motivations her rumoured attraction towards Karna and her equation with Lord Krishna.
Ah, what a five-star read! Palace of Illusions by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni is something I would want my kids to read.
