Keep in mind:
This guy was digging IN THE ROCK SECTION.
Genius.
Yes! :) brilliant
so? rock samples aren't hard to work with.. tons of people use rock samples.
@@ArrghhMatey imo they r the best to work with if u wanna make some hard shhhh been like that since Run DMC & the beastie boys
He makes some cool ass basslines
The bassline he did on Cadillactica >>>>>>>>
thank you very much
yo stop pretending like you his manager or something. you don't know Dahi so quit the bs.
Actually Miami Made Music that sir is my uncle would you like his number he lives out in cali
you don't know him.
Props to Dahi for really handling what was given to him. Btw, a Knxwledge Rhythm Roulette would be sooo dope
I agree!
yeah, I just saw that tweet after you mentioned it. Sucks, but if the dude doesn't wanna do it then that's his decision.
I hope he does too him, Awhlee, ohbliv, coryayo, sup nasa, klefto the whole gods connect channel lol
WORD!
+Bikes&Beats Raw Flakes is nice too....
yo can we get a flying lotus rhythm roulette
HELL YEAH
yessss please
That would be nice
yes sir
would be soo interesting but he might be too hard to get on here
He's so talented. Could flip shit most people wouldn't even think about
dahi's effects and percussions are crazy
wonder how he does it.. so dope
DJ Dahi is seriously my most underrated DJ. Dude has made countless hits and keeps killing it. I'm impressed he managed to sample that Torche metal album at all or even the Neil Young country/folk sound. Metal and country stuff normally sounds weird in hip hop, but DJ Dahi made it work. Amazing episode.
I guess after Madlib said he make beats off every song on an album, its inspiring dudes to do the same. props to dude for experimenting
Alchemist been said that
THEINFAMOUS1011 word,where the link?
In the description
no the link to alchemist saying he samples every song onna record, lol
LOL!
Dahi snapped again with that LOYALTY. beat on DAMN. The guy is a beast.
Bruh this nigga made LOYALTY??? I can't stop playing that shit, hot damn!
He said he just found the sample but another producer helped with the chopping
Oddisee- RHYTHM ROULETTE PLEASE MASS APPEAL!!!!!!
worddd need that!
Would love that, but I doubt he would. I recently saw him say that he doesn't like anyone watching while he makes beats.
W
don't get you expectations too high cause you might get disappointed. if it doesn't turn out the way you expect it.
YES
Most inspiring rhythm roulette to date. He sampled the un-sampleable! Love it
his baselines really bring this shit to life
Shoutout the Jay-Z chant from the song Pray on American Gangster :-) . Great job man
Can we get Busy Works Beats on RR?
+Jack Rae !!!!
+Jack Rae Word lol
I don't have a vinyl player yet :D
I don't even think there is a vinyl store anywhere around here :D
Man head to Milw. we got a couple of stores with treasure and half price players ...
did not think he could get anything out of that metal record. i love metal but it's damn near impossible to sample it.
It's definitely possible, I do it all the time, you just have to find the right metal!
With Metal- try slowing it down to UNRECOGNIZABLE tempo and you'll be able to get a pretty good sample
Most records you can sample...just gotta find the right moment in that song to sample.
+zero signal outta curiosity do you have a link to a song where you use a metal sample? itd be dope to hear it
Yeah, Torche are a great band but metal is so busy and frequently so atonal that it can be hard to do much with it. Plus, it's almost always so rhythmically straight that you have to really mess with it to get any groove going.
bruh is a beast...he kilt that drug dealers anonymous beat
He produced that?? Damn!
Yeah TDE put me on to him a while back
Smoke DZA's KONY, Raleigh Ritchie's Life in a Box, Mick Jenkins' Dehydration, Big KRIT's Cadillatica. He has made some amazing stuff over the past few years!
+Jamal Williams didn't he do something on Dom kenndy mix tape?
He did a lot on Yellow Album
I lost it when fam pulled out a Harmonica towards the end. XD fucking crazy! Definitely a new favorite for me.
just saw you on the divine council video
I had a heart attack when that notification dropped.
Word... I almost walked off of my job when I seen the notification.
Fact tho. I was about to clock out of work early when I got this notification!
that country joint he did sound like it could be a theme song to an action/drama style show on FX
By far the most interesting selection of random records I've seen in this series. Props to Dahi for making proper beats.
Hands down the best producer of this new generation
EASILY
dudes got talent
No, he has ableton and the push
talent
+prettdboy go get a push and ableton lets see you do something better than this lol
This man took control of that studio like not many others could do on these ... that's a fucking producer right there, b.
That second beat is the biggest hit thats ever been made on R.R
Can hear K Dot on it immediately, sounds like a DAMN beat
2:36 That bassline is the business
This ranks up there with 9th Wonder's Rhythm Roulette....
DJ Dahi lowkey looks like Shaolin Fantastic
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
He does look like Shameik Moore.
You ever seen them in the same room 🤔
The beat at 2:40, when he adds the bass line in there...oooooooooooooooh weeeeee! Damn
Kid got some soul. Greatest high ever when u vibe'n & feeling that musical energy...
Exactly
He's older than he looks. 33.
Fresh360Waves thought he was a little older actually
Still my favorite one.... The basslines are absolutely amazing.
The J Dilla statue told me this guy knows what he's doing
Second beat is fantastic, this guy's a true talent. Great work.
can't believe this boy busted out the harmonica
At first i was like damn, he picked all whack records, but then he made a beat with all three! Damn! One of the best episodes ever!
Love the j dilla figure behind the computer
dahi prolly the best new school producer rn. he fuckin killed the lupe album last year
He reminds me of Shameik Moore. It's crazy to me how underrated this dude still is...still bump that Pac Div - Intro regularly
bout time...1 of my top 5 fav producers right now. this man made magicout of a coupel of nothing tracks and made sum easy samples sound even more unique then already were. he's gifted.
Dj Dahi is my fav producer right now because he's so versatile
Keep coming back to this. Solid takes on all 3 records. Pretty impressive.
Dude is legit, made three solid beats. LOVE his gorgeous basslines and all the grit he injects into his beats.
This man has all my respect creating money trees ❤️
This is one of the best ones, imo. All the beats he made were dope af. I will definitely be looking for more music from him.
i cant believe he sampled metal and made good beat with it, true professional
This guy is my best friends brother and I met him.. very intelligent guy and glad he making it..
Frank Dukes needa be next or Mike Dean
sampled to Canadian albums! and busts out a harmonica over a Neil Young sample! so fresh.
I've seen more than 50 of your videos and this is BY FAR the best of all
So glad you got DJ Dahi on this. He is one the best and most underrated producers out right now. He was a beast in this, as expected.
all of them straight BANGERS. totally different rhythm than most of the other producers too, especially the way he uses live instruments
I'll be able to die happy with an MF DOOM rhythm roulette
They have one lol
Lol that April Fools video doesn't count. ....
Dang
So dope. I can't get enough of this format. Love it!
Great to see someone not only use all three records, but make three fantastic beats. DJs like this should be the standard for Rhythm Roulette.
3:24 when you find the sample
Hahaha word! What is the name of that sample?
Speeding - lights
That had to be one of the MOST creative RR's I've seen! Tight
he murdered these beats!! especially that 1st one!!
Amazing, all the 3 beats. One of the best i've seen, hands down.
Dahi a legend producer in the making imo.
this was dope af tho
real shit this about to be one of my favorite episodes.
+Sha Dot Dahi one of my favorite producers. I always get excited when I see his name on the linear notes of an album
I agree this shiT was ill!!
+anthony alvarez thank you so much, I will let him know what you said
3 bangers.. DJ Dahi always is consistent! Salute!
mad props!!! I had no idea where he was going with the beats but when he finished...just awesome😃
06:04 "I was like, ok... that's dope... the dude got some move's"
then...
06:18 "Holly sh***** ttt !! that dude just pull out a Harmonica out of nowhere... that's too F****** awesome"
07:31 "shut up and take my money! too i'll to not be released!"
If this dude's schedule isn't packed it will be soon.
of course, just saying this video will cause him to be in even more demand.
Especially after that collab with Push and hov
he made money trees and worst behavior...
Yessir
+jjforyomama worst ?????
Dahi has the best rhythm roulette so far. He knows how to flip samples!
He's great. One of the best episodes
Things get disrespectful at 2:35
This how my next album should star. Beat monster, so violent yet restrained so you can flow on it. This that feeling that Jigga had before the blueprint dropped when he was doing all them clue tapes. Very passive aggressive.
One of the best producers out there today
He killed it, especially that first beat. Lawwwwdddd!
This is one of the best ones of recent months! Dope
tough
Hey Mass Appeal, get that boy Sango on rhythm roulette!
Samsonite Man nigga who?
Karewa Tuwhangai nigga you got the same Google I got. Better look him up
Samsonite Man sango is the goat hands down
MrPixelMate shit yea!
This was too dope!! That Harmonica!!
Dude seems chill AF. Not my style beat but I can recognize talent and love the creativity.
I watch this one religiously. SO GOOD!
it was already cold then pulled out the harmonica
this is therapeutic watch/listening this art on fold in front of you
the bassline on the first beat has been stuck in my head for days
We need Clams Casino!
This dude really just sample Torche? legend.
so dope bassline which turned first beat and in general all beats are great.
He is just casually SHREDDING, doing real magic right here.
I need to hear that second beat in final version whole thing like 10min version at least!!!
Too good
This dude reminds me of the main character off of "Dope" all grown up
I guess this explains how these producer be making beats with those ambient sounds in the background. Amazing
This was actually a great one to watch... he didnt have the best choices to flip from what he grabbed and he still turned it around nicely...
That lights album is tight
I need that second beat DX
Beast. One of the best sessions yet
never heard of dude but im impressed!! this and 9ths are my favs so far! nice chunky drums n basslines...and the lil vocal sprinkles always add more flavor!! DOPE!
man...that harmonica tho
did he ever make a full instrumental on the first beat he was making? PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
Another one for the books!!!! Killing it!!
Versatile, soulful and so quick... Nice, the guy got huge talent
Imagine a Yung Gud rhythm roulette... just imagine
UNDERATED!!!!
Imagine a Terry lewis and Jimmy Jam rhythm roulette....
+prettdboy lol haha
Please, no one with Yung or young in there name. Even Young Guru should just be Old Guru.
+Jay Brown dude, Yung Gud is a fucking god at producing... he's better than any of the other "yungs" or "Youngs" out there. except for yung sherman, he's pretty sick too lolol
Cole on the first beat
Drizzy on the second
Kendrick on the third
Such an underrated producer. Produced so many hits but very few people recognize him.
first beat bassline is so deep and dope....woooh
Somebody get this man on the new Wu album.
what goes on in this man's brain?
Hemsley pure greatness
Dope Video! Homie uses the most obscure parts of a record, then let's his creativity roam. I love it. Special props for the harmonica! Dude is a beast. Those eyes are fire too.
Dope. Especially that second one beat. I want to hear more of that
