  • A great entry level laminated bow for a good price. Performs well but has some small issues due to mass production.
My advice, don't get this bow in more then 40#
You can order the bow at Malta Archery (thank you for letting me test the bow):

Thanks for the review! I recently bought this bow, being an absolute beginner, so it's nice to hear i've made a reasonably good choice. I've made a habit of practicing both thumb release and Mediterranean combined with holding left and right while holding 3 arrows in the bow hand. It's a good way of giving my fingers some time to relax a few days. I hope to visit Malta some day and come practice at the range. Your videos are a true inspiration. Thanks a lot! With kind regards, Jan-Willem

I have this bow, it's the first and only one I have (for now hehehe ;) for about a year. It's nice to see you review this bow and I must agree; It's a fun shooter. Once I can get back to the range (hopefully soon) I hope it can teach me all about thumb release. The rest of the club shoots longbow or olympic style and compared to those you can see that these bows are little speed monsters.

Thank you for the review! I have this bow at 30# in my collection, and it's a not-expensive, nice, very sturdy and stiff, beginner friendly bow that I could recommend for activities that provide a damage risk (horseback shooting, hiking & 3D shooting, teaching new shooters and children).

Anyway sweet looking little shooter should be a great beginners bow and for the money through Malta Archery with arrows and a second string! As Armin would say " a no brainer". i ve a longbow from buck trail . there is nothing to complain at this price and i m fine with it . but a delamination problem might be not
unusual for these brand . very suprising because bucktrail is made for win & win in china . w & w is a very high quality brand so far i know
. a companion at my archeryclub had a delamination with his longbow in the summertime . but there was absolute
no problem with a replacement for the bow -- takes only 4 days and he got a new one and it still works 3 years now.

Thank you very much for this review Armin. I have bought one of these bows. I do not have a tiller so I cannot say if mine has the same imbalance as your one, but the finish on the handle does not have those scratchy bits yours did, but I can detect the slight uneven profile of the limb. I presume this is just luck with the mass production. For the price it is a very good bow. I also have a bucktrail antelope traditional recurve which is a very nice bow.

Tartars are people form Tartary/Tartaria. That was a name the Europeans used for Asia. While all Tatars are Tartars, not all Tartars are Tatar. The term and it's use goes back to the 13th century. From Old French Tartaire, from Medieval Latin Tartarus (“Tartar, Mongol”), from Old Turkic Tatar‎ (Tatar), spelling influenced by Latin Tartarus (“Hell (in Greek mythology)”), from Ancient Greek Τάρταρος (Tártaros). Historia Mongalorum quos nos Tartaros appellamus (“History of the Mongols Whom We Call the Tartars”) and Liber Tartarorum (“Book of the Tartars”). This bow was my first bow and it was a good starter bow to get me going, had lots of fun practicing with it and getting used to archery. Unfortunately I managed to crack the nock of the top ( I think this is how it's called), but that was my mistake. The production was good. Problem is - the bone dots from the top of the handle started to fall off, this is the thing that I didn't like with the bow. Other than that, for me it was a good investment, getting my simsek bow soon!
