Steeda designed this brace to help reinforce the K-member and help maintain proper suspension geometry when cornering with your 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 Mustang. This brace helps strengthen the connection between the control arm mounts and the rear of the sub frame, making the load path more direct and giving much more effective chassis stiffening.

Just installed this on my gt. Pretty self explanatory. You actually need to get all the bolts started but it will require using a pry bar to get everything installed. Had to grind down spacer for the driver side. It would have been nice if steeda added a second set of washers for the lower part of the rear mounting where the 22mm socket is to get a better bite on the subframe instead of just the head of the bolt making contact with the subframe. Steering actually felt a little heavier and tighter. Steering input reacts faster and requires less input to steer. I'll probably had the washers later

Hey +Bill Tumas Saw the jack points you used from the lift. Had any issues raising it up from there? I don't like the pinch rails and the wheelbase is a bit short for my lift to hit all four jack points exactly. Can you shed some light on where you lift from bc I've seen you lift from both in your videos. Appreciate it.

+William Perry II I usually lift from the K member and the factory rear pinch weld area unless the install interferes. The rear pinch weld is fine but I would rather be on the K member up front

Will these fit when running long-tube headers on a 2015-2017 GT? Thanks.

I have a 2019 GT PP1. will this interfere with the K Brace that comes in the PP1?

What’s the difference between the extreme g track brace and the ultralight g track brace?

What about the lower aero plastics on the Mach 1, will they fit?

Hi Bill, I have a 19 gt PP1 and wanted to add this to my car. I have all the other Steeda suspension Components they offer except for this. But I wanted to know since I have Steeda Progressive lowering springs how low does the front of this brace hang down? It looks like it’s lower than the rest of the car and might be very prone to hitting speed bumps

Would this work on a 2015 convertible

The "hack" of using a bolt with a 12mm head for the front bolts isn't gonna get you very far. Any metric bolt with a 12mm head will shear long before you get to the 55 ft-lbs those bolts want. Save yourself the frustration and just get a 12mm allen socket. Cost all of $9 at AutoZone.

Will this not work on a gt350? Rear tabs line up right but it seems like the front holes are off by a 1/2 hole.

Just finished this on a 2018 GT, so YMMV... but line up the front first. If your subframe doesn't have the threaded inserts, you need the aluminum spacers on top of the front bracket. I had almost exactly the same alignment problems when I tried to do the rear first. The rears will still be off, but they're much easier to tweak into position.

I like easy stuff like this to install but does it really make a diff is the real question ...

cjw0024 Well I installed it on my GT, I would say that I did notice a little difference on bumps car seems a bit more ridged, but hay you can never go wrong with more bracing.

The supplied spacers would not go in. I had to grind each one down to get them to slide in. I have a convertible, could that be why?

Had the same issue with my non-convertible gt on for the driver side spacer.

mine was an inch off, steeda should have used studs up front instead of that lame allen key bolt
