I didn't move to another country. But I was posted to another state within the country and mehn... Their culture was quite different, the food, they don't care if you greet unlike my culture and a lot more.😊
First shock was the lack of variety in cloth options and food options. Everything seems similar than where I left. Second shock was the amount of preparation before leaving home - check weather, wear thermal wear, winter jacket etc. Third was realizing most of us were raised to speak queens English and could speak better than some folks in the country I am in.
English one is so true. Comments like ohh your English is good and in my head I am like yeah it is the official language where I come from now please sit 😂

For me it was the not using SORRY oooo like saying sorry when it wasn’t your fault back we say Sorry for everything 😂😂😂😂
