I’ve learned some great things in these times, like proper cooking of ground beef, and sauce ingredients. My spice cupboard & fridge are fuller, and meals are so much better!
Yes! Vietnamese inspired food from Marion! Best way to start 2021!
So delish! Perfect for summer time and really anytime!!
So delicious. Happy new year Robie
Start 2021 with this healthy idea. Thank you! Now excuse me, I have half a pecan pie to finish from the holidays.
This would be a fun appetizer: the meatballs on toothpicks with sauce for dipping!
Absolutely!
Ahhhhhh, now I know what I'm making for dinner tomorrow! Pure joy, as always... thanks, M. Have a Happier New Year!
Same to you!
I watched this video and went straight out to buy ingredients and make it for lunch. Oh my gosh they're so delicious!! A new fav. Added some vermicelli noodles so they're a little more filling for a meal. Will definitely be making these again.
My new years resolution is to master as many of your recipes as I can. These are next! 😃
YUM this looks so easy and delicious. Thank You Marion.
Those wraps looks so good! And here I am having just eaten chicken, green beans, and potatoes like a sucker!
Marion... I am fascinated by your recipes and actually have one marinating in my fridge at the moment!
I love your love for chilli and fried chicken and when you said you don't like washing up... I think my daughter fell in love with you too 🤩
I think the word Xiu mai lettuce wrap would be more fitting since Banh mi literally mean bread. As always super nice recipe from you!
Looks so healthy and delicious! Exactly what I needed! 😍😍
I like how you actually eat the food you cook and actually enjoy it. My wife and I love your Mongolian beef recipe. Keep up the awesome work that your doing, really enjoy your videos. Many Many thanks.
I made these tonight and they were amazing. I substituted jalapeno for the chili, mixed the mayo and sriracha together for the sauce, added lime juice and served them on rolls with the quick pickles and cilantro - really quite nice - these are a keeper and good enough for company
Such a nice idea, thank you so much ☺️ -Team Marion's Kitchen
Oh my oh my oh my!! They’re beautiful. Thank you!!!!!
I just made these last night - without a doubt one of my top 3 favorite meals of all time. No exaggeration. Marion’s coconut sriracha MADE this!!!
Love how you get right to the point! Your a pleasure to watch and a great teacher!
Hello how are you doing?
This is such a great recipe and so versatile! I'm lactose intolerant so I used oat milk instead of real milk and switched the pork out for ground turkey (93% lean from costco) - turned out great! Also in an effort to be low carb I toasted a low carb bread that I crumbled up instead to use as a substitute. I eat these sometimes as lettuce cups, with thai papaya salad, I've I've tried it with spaghetti sauce - tastes great with everything!
Made these tonight. Here's how it went:
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I did add some lime juice and a touch of chili paste to the milk, bread crumbs, and garlic. I also added chili paste to the pickling mix as well as some cucumber ribbons. My "sauce" was simply sriracha, mayo, a hint of lime juice, and sugar. And it was all so very good!
Thanks,
Marion
Another Marion recipe I must make. Thanks for keeping my menus spicy 🌶 during COVID.
Your ideas are always so creative. Here from the U.S. I’m surprised it took me so long to find your channel!!✌️
Hi! marion i am filipino but really love your Asian recipe i keep on watching your vedio Godbless your family 😊
Happy New Year Marion and family Love from Scotland 🇬🇧🍸🍸
I would have never thought of meatball lettuce wraps! This looks so yummy. Gonna have to make it for sure
Sash....ooh,it looks so good & tasty. Marion ,you are my absolute go- to for all my Thai flavors...
Big thumbs up from my family! I pickled my carrots, daikon and jalapeño ahead of time. The same with the meatballs until I got some sides prepped. Then I started cooking. We topped our meatball cups with sweet chili sauce. A little messy, but oh so good!
Is this a high protien meal! Could this be Keto! You always make veggies look so good.. My mouth is watering 🤤 Yum.. x
It has starch from breadcrumbs and simple carbohydrates from carrots and sugar. So not that keto I think. I'm not an expert, just my general observation
Not keto as is, but could be modified to keto with some creative substitutions.
This isn’t KETO but to me it’s the healthy version of KETO you don’t need to make the bread paste could use a vegetable starch it’s so little that it wouldn’t be a significant amount. I personally don’t count vegetable “carbs” as the fiber content changes the nutritional value. The more vegetables and fiber the better. I eat 12-17c of vegetables a day and I’ve been “Keto” for 6 years. I’m more about not having processed foods and I’m also primarily plant based. Hope this is helpful. Stay safe and healthy everyone❤️

Oh! I might put this meatball mix into some dumpling wrappers left over from New Years!
I love this idea without the bread as my family doesn't seem to like the buns of the sandwiches I like that idea in the lettuce wrap and how easy and fun it looks lots of love from fellow CZcamsr Jenn in Kanata from Kanata Ontario Canada

Hey Marion, I absolutely love your videos and recipes! They look so delicious all the time 😍 and I would like to ask if you could make some veggie options or recipes maybe? I love all Asian kitchens but finding something without meat is pretty hard sometimes. Greetings from Germany 😘
Meatball lettuce wrap minus the banh mi (bread) I’m Vietnamese. Heart you Marion
Oh my.... i will make this!!!!!😍😍
Hello! I've thoroughly enjoyed your videos and your noodle dishes have inspired my Asian cooking.
Your "mush" is actually called panada which is a traditional French method but not the same as the Spanish Panada as it is a bread soup.
Thanks for your enchanting and informative videos.
you had me at "fat & juicy"
I just lost my job because of the pandemic, so I started a CZcams cooking channel. Wish me luck!!!
.....and subscribed!🍏.....wishing you well with your channel!😆
Happy New Year, Marion and family! ❤
Happy new year!!
Looks awesome, such a nice light lunch or even a dinner
Yeah so amazing. Happy new year
"Pillowy cloud of porkiness" lol why do I relate 🤣🤣
Hi Marion!
Your recipe looks quite yummy and healthy. However, in Vietnamese language, "banh mi" is the bread or the baguette, not the meat, or the pickled, or that combo. Without the bread, it would not be called "banh mi" at all. I am pretty sure that Vietnamese people will not call that "banh mi" when they see your video either, even when you call it "banh mi" in the title. So I think you should name it something else other than "banh mi", or maybe "banh mi"-inspired recipe.
Sincerely!
This was so so good. Family loved it!
Great tips for the meat balls 👍
I love a good Banh Mi recipe! I need to try this recipe for myself asap haha!
Definitely going to try this!!
We go to a local Vietnamese restaurant for pho and also their spring rolls are amazing, served with lettuce cups and pickled dicon and carrots. I would LOVE to know how they make this pickling solution. And they won’t tell lol.
Thank you so much for this one!!
Just made this- delicious! And so easy :) however instead of lettuce cups I just used Vietnamese bread rolls 😃
easy n' delicious, m.!
my two favorite things in a recipe 😃
Yaaay👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I💙 meatballs & a good lettus cup & yes my cups are usually cabbage it gives a good thick crunch 😋 👍🏿
A v Happy n Blessed New Year 💐 Marion
I loved all Ur recipes n I wana try this recipe too.God bless you always.
Yum 😋! Looks delicious. I’m definitely making it
These were amazing! Could you bake the meatballs instead of frying? If so, what would that look like for temp and time?
Happy new year 🥂
The cucumber sounds like a food addition. Can I used the pickled yellow radish with the carrots? I want to make my list for the Korean store but I definitely want to make banh mi sandwiches japchae and udon noodles, and probably some kimbap. I want some of the stuff I pick up to be able to be used in multiple dishes.
In Vietnam these meatballs are called Síu Mại (like Chinese Siu Mai but no skin and different fillings)
I made this yesterday, so damn good. And then today I wrapped them into rice paper. SOGOOD.
added some cucumbers too, and green onions and cilantro on top
Awesome thanks so much
That carrot pickle with chilli may be my favourite thing I just want to add to other stuff too. Awesome recipe, want to definitely try it
Oh wow! Exactly what I need... Veggies! And the lovely juicy protein! Yum!
💖🌶
This looks so good. What is the red chili you're using?
Can you make a video about the classic vinaigrette’s, oils and sauces you need to have in house to make allot of basics? Peace
Huh yes 🤤🤤🤤 so good love it
Would uou ever make a pate episode Marion? You’ve done a few good banh mi ingredient related episode may as well try one? Wed love to see your take on it. Xxx Happy new year!
Hello how are you happy new year
Hello
Finally got to see you live from
HEMET California
Yummy... Yummy......
Will your sauces be available in Canada? They look delicious.
Oh wow yummy 🤤
This looks delicious. I would want to add some pate though as well. It is the key to a good banh mi in my opinion.
Bam bam bigolo... delicious recipe
Looks delicious regardless and I understand the why people would want to use a lettuce wrap, but it's just funny seeing something called a banh mi when it has no bread because banh mi literally means bread. Really it's missing some key flavors though, namely the use of lard and liver pate... though mayo does good in place of the lard.
Watching from Malaysia 😘
Love your cooking
Cannot wait to make these tomorrow ‼️‼️‼️. I will not eat them successfully without smearing lipstick though♥️♥️♥️🤣🤣🤣.
I want to try this. Hope I can find the fish sauce.
Good morning pretty 💚..The dish looks so good..
Hi please do move from Astalia because i think you are the best shef in Astralia _♡♡☆☆ And good morning.
I'm making this tomorrow but with ground chicken
Awesome! I hope you love it!
@@Marionskitchen thank you..I can tell I already will..Happy New Year..thanks for the great recipe.
Yummmmmm 🥰🥰
Plz share ur coconut sos recipe
I guess I'm going to have to try your sirracha sauce
I'm always afraid to try store bought sauces because they usually taste like crap 😅 I make most of my sauces.
For what it’s worth I’m also afraid of store bought sauces and found Marion’s to be amazing.
Paul King, you will not be disappointed with her Sriracha sauce. It’s amazing! I was also concerned about it but I found it good. Try it.
