  • This was Natsu's first solo video!
    In this video, we didn't want to just do an ordinary tutorial video where we tell you the basics of Chudan Mawashi Geri or the Roundhouse kick to the stomach. Instead, we referred to 6 ways karate athletes used this kick in an actual competition, and analyzed how to copy their technique!
    There is no need for you to master all 6 patterns of Chudan Mawashi Geri. Since we've ordered them in a way that's easy for you to master, we recommend you start from the top.

    • @Gdr_draco_X
      @Gdr_draco_X Před 10 měsíci

      Bro sports karate is not meant for fighting it’s meant to be a sport not actual combat. For self defense there is traditional karate moves like urakan,maegiri,mawashigiri can be useful in real life fights

      @HeavyMetalRonin402 Před 2 lety +2

      Both. With true/good karate, you will find the exact same four traditional punches as done in boxing, as well as great fundamentals for combat. With boxing, in addition you learn slipping, rolling, and dodging, as well as full contact sparring which will get you used to getting hit by an opponent. A boxer can benefit from karate with the addition of elbows, knees, and kicks, whereas a karateka can benefit from boxing with the inclusion/introduction of full contact sparring and the defensive movements of the body.

    I really hate modern tournaments. Everyone seems to pose for the referee and judges. Many of their techniques are totally ineffective, but they scream and Kiai for 5 seconds while looking for the referee often waving a hand in the air. Old school tournaments from the ‘60s and ‘70s were more realistic-at least the ones I saw in New York and California.
