I think the shade of paint you choose is very pretty and feminine. I liked your honesty about things may have came with struggles. The big secret no one tell you is that it doesn't stop...how we face our challenges is life..
I can be pessimistic too...and have to remind myself of this all the time.

Girl! You are doing great. You are living so many people dreams. You know I always wish to live in NYC and it’s not easy AT ALL! But you are doing great and of course it takes few months or even a year to get used to everything. I LOVED when your sister said “you can always come back to JC” and you answered “I won’t”. I love your Vlogs. I’m so sorry you’re dealing with all of these problems but I’m so incredibly happy that you are deciding to like keep on living and have started to be creative again. Life keeps going and you have to as well. I’m glad you haven’t seen anymore mold and I really do hope that you get that month off from rent because there were a lot of problems.

That was a beautiful shade of purple! Kinda matches your nail polish ;-) I hope your landlords offer you a refund on your first month's rent. They ought to! Crazy what you've had to put up with. Every time I get depressed and discouraged, I try to go outside and get some sunshine...it usually helps. I don't know if your living room window gets any natural sun, but maybe keep the curtains open while you're working? Might help cheer the place a bit. As it is, I love your decor and taste. You are doing great! Wishing you a happy week!
Thank you so so much ❤. Its crazy how small things in life can influence the decision (went with this color because I love my lavender nail polish :)). I need to be more consistent with my daily mental health works. This is another part of my old routine that I am having a hard time being consistent. Unfortunately, the living room doesn't get much natural light. I did end up getting those "therapy light". My bedroom does get natural light but I am in my living room most of the times. Have a lovely week ahead!
This was another wonderful video. I am happy to see things at least appear better for you :) it is refreshing being able to see and watch others in their 30s like me experiencing life and learning. I moved in my 30's too and bought a 100 year old house with plenty of issues. I guess I was also trying to change my life 🤷🏾♀️. Part of me was hoping you were going to request to break the lease without penalty not just one month off. This is a tricky situation but persevere Tisha the best way you know how. You're still doing really good!

I think your shoe rack came out really nice & that all of your touches in your apartment look very cozy - - I think you are doing a great job & you need to give yourself a HUGE pat on the back. It's not easy to live alone, I know I did it myself for many years. So, give yourself tons of credit..... &, remember, it's SPRING!!! Hello Tisha, I love any shade of purple, lavender etc. It looks very pretty. You are capable of all things. Remember that. You are enough and don’t compare your apartment to others. NY is very expensive so having a one bedroom is a big deal.😊. Continue making your space your own.

Just curious if they were new curtains that got the mold and did you wash them prior to hanging them? If you did not wash them it could be that they had mold in them that was reactivated by opening them and your apartment being humid.
When I first saw it on the curtains, I thought the same thing too. But after I saw the mold on bottom of my two books that’s when i got concerned. Thank you 💗

Many international students are subletting their homes with great discount in the area because they're leaving home for the summer so you should check that out!

@@chi2om I lived in Downtown Jersey City (Grove) for almost 5 yrs and I loved it. It is so convenient to come to the city. I definitely prefer Grove over Newport, Hoboken or Exchange Place. Not sure about short term leasing. Jersey City Heights is another option too but there aren't much things to do.
