    I need precisely 1000 more of these.
    I have an idea for a reality tv show where they gather in all the different personality types and give them challenges to complete while personality analyzers talk to us about what is happening in the various group dynamics. I've considered just writing a book and making up the characters, but I think it would take years of MBTI training to get there and make it accurate. The ideas are pouring in, but my skill isn't quite there

      @@wlwlwlw3908 I'm an intj, but I copied this from a Quora post:
      "From an ISFP’s point of view, I appreciate their clarity of mind and speech. They’re very witty and imaginative. Even though some of their ideas can be out-there, but the way they speak make these abstract ideas accessible and fascinating. If I do not understand a point, they are patient in explaining it to me. I love listening to them!
      It’s their clarity of mind that makes me feel safe around them. People may find this intimidating (and yes, I feel that way too sometimes), but if the INTJ has your best interest in mind, then I feel completely safe in their presence. They help me think through situations, and their calm confidence gives me assurance that everything will be fine.
      The INTJs I know have well-developed Fi. They’re very self-aware, perhaps more than me, an Fi-dom. They have deep-seated values, which I can recognize and appreciate. They care deeply for those they love. They are willing to work hard to make the relationship work. They invest so much of themselves into their relationships. They can disappear for a while (INTJs gotta INTJ), but I have found them to be loyal friends. Their affection or concern for you can be just as strong as it was months after your last contact.
      They are level-headed and fair (for the most part), and will admit it when they’re not. They’re both super chill and uptight at the same time, which I find adorable in a strange way. They’re both child-like and old-souls.
      I don’t quite know why, but I do feel a strong affinity and kinship to INTJs. I love both their heads and their hearts (which they’re not as known for, but they deserve acknowledgment in this area). INTJs are awesome!"

    I totally agree with Enfj's answer (I'm a ENFJ too) expressing myself is something I suffer, but when I think about artistic things I like, like creative writing/music, I try to clash a little with my perspective because in the same way as a person may end up creating a Mary Sue by accident because I want to insert myself in a story, I feel very corruptible... and writing something that looks like me gives me a feeling of vulnerability that I don't like (tritype 278) and I've always been the type of person who learns more from the mistakes of others than going to make mine. I recently found out that my mbti/eneagram are very similar to a character I had mixed feelings and love, what makes me love him is precisely how our personalities are different and close at the same time. Interesting that you make an unfounded assumption that the INTJ may be lying in his story when in actual fact INTJ’s value honesty and authenticity hugely, and you don’t question the integrity of any other type. Just because a person expresses themselves in a different way to you, or in a way that doesn’t resonate with you does not automatically mean that they’re lying. As an INTJ myself my Ni will often lead me to make decisions that benefit me down the line way before I’m consciously aware of how or why that decision will benefit me later. So, rather than leaping to suspicion why not cut him some slack because you don’t actually know how his mind works.

    Answering your question: I think since a very few of the listeners were able to pay attention to the little complexly framed/explained question of the infj, and given that the body language of him expecting a little more from the enfj,
    the enfj being totally able to get it(FE) went on to agree with him and came up with an explanation with a good Ni (with -Ti).
    Could be a possibility.

    • @violet18
      @violet18 Před rokem +2

      I found 4:28 to be hilarious. You can look to the NFJs to see if someone is genuine or not. It's interesting because they are reacting to the INTJ who is a Fi user and I've heard Fi described as "authentic". However, they didn't buy the INTJ's story.

  • @rusxlka

    I thought I’d share some thoughts regarding the ENFJ’s answer from a perspective of an INFJ writer, though I’m curious whether there are some differences in regards to the Fe-Ni and Ni-Fe. I’ve found that, if I write a character that is similar to myself, I can sort of “overdo” it in a way where Fe-Ti is not satisfied, if that makes sense. Because Ni is so intensely focused on the project when one’s passionate about it, it’s possible to lean into what you have the most information on (Ti) too much in the hopes of reaching the audience (Fe). Which isn’t bad in itself, but you can end up with one over-developed character and the rest of the characters simply interacting with them.
    I believe (& hope!) that this isn’t because of narcissistic tendencies 😜 but because of that Fe-Ti that wishes to “explain” things to people and, well. If an xxFJ has spent enough time developing their Ti, they get well-versed on the topic of their internal logic, beliefs, etc. Similarly, wishing to “explain themselves” to others through art can be a side-effect of the FJ tendency to concentrate on people around us-because we sometimes feel like we’re the only ones paying attention and that we’re thus misunderstood, which we dislike, Fe-Ti (at least for me) comes out through explaining that personal internal logic to people.
    But, in terms of writing characters, that can result in Ni-Ti endlessly pivoting on the same subject and over-analysing one person (the writer). I think this would be a more comfortable thing for writers with Fi (or even FJs who are enneagram 4), but Fe-Ti seems like it would give priority to dynamics and contrasts between different characters-those that would help illustrate a greater point (Ni), in the case of NFJs. Plus, self-analysis-especially self-analysis that’s supposed to be later consumed by complete strangers-isn’t something that comes naturally to high Fe users, I’d think. It depends on the enneagram, of course, but there’s nothing new to _learn_ from analysing yourself (Ti), only new things to _discover_ about yourself, and FJs don’t generally tend to like to focus on themselves as a topic.
    I personally feel a bit self-absorbed and redundant when I feel like I’m connecting too personally to a character I’m writing, at which point I purposefully establish differences between myself and the character to avoid that overindulgence in “explaining myself” to an audience of strangers. Plus, I don’t think doing that is even advisable because there will be people that will harshly criticise the character, whether in good faith or in bad faith, and experiencing that is something I’d personally like to avoid, probably because of that low Se anxiety 😅 An xxFP would probably like to self-express like that, I’d think, because Fi is less sensitive about other people’s opinions.
    However, I think ENFJs would have even more of a problem writing characters similar to them due to inferior Ti. Generally speaking, developing Ti is how FJs stand their ground, so to speak-how they learn to differentiate between themselves and others, and learn what they truly believe or think. But it’s not a completely natural instinct for us, hence why Te-Fi users see us as people-pleasers. I’m an INFJ and, while I should have a stronger Ti than an average ENFJ, it can still feel limiting and self-indulgent to use it (“I ‘know’ I’m right, but that doesn’t mean I should dismiss their perspective” and “This is still only my point of view and badgering people with it won’t encourage others to seek other perspectives / listen to other people”). An ENFJ would, I think, have even more of a problem with asserting themselves and focusing on themselves in such a way, though they might have more trouble trying to explain it (or would rather not bother because their Se is better and they have better things to do 😁). Sorry for the long message, Sara, I’d love to hear your perspective on this! ❤️

    • @rusxlka
      @rusxlka Před 2 lety

      I’d also forgot to add, it can also be because Fi-Te is a lot more comfortable with subjectivity than Fe-Ti, which is ‘longing’ to be objective. Writing someone very similar to oneself can therefore feel like the surest way to end up being biased in favour of a self-projection 😊

    Hi Sara, I don’t know if you read these, but I just want to say how much I *love* your analysis videos. I specifically watch and rewatch all of the INFP analysis’ however I do enjoy the other MBTI typing videos as well.
    I was hoping I could send a recommendation your way: I recently watched the movie ‘Eternals’, directed by Chloé Zhao, and I have a sneaking suspicion that one of the lead characters ‘Sersi’ is an INFP. While I’ve never personally typed a character before(I try to leave that to experts lol) if she *is* an INFP, I would love to get your take on her, as generally speaking it seems as though INFP’s tend to be portrayed as more frail and “weak”, and in this case, she develops a much stronger side as the film progresses.
    All in all, I appreciate your videos, and am eager for more in the future. Happy holidays. 😄🎉🎄🎁
