PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (August 8, 2023) - Pigeon Forge’s largest waterpark resort just announced more family
fun with the addition of Braxton Beaver’s Shipwreck Bay, an epic 16,000 sq. ft. indoor waterpark, opening in early 2025. Braxton Beaver’s Shipwreck Bay will offer a fully immersive indoor waterpark experience, designed and themed by Country Cascades Waterpark Resort’s very own Forest Friends. At the heart of this water wonderland lies Braxton’s newly discovered shipwreck, featuring a zero-entry splash pad play structure, four thrilling slides, and an array of interactive elements that guarantee a day filled with excitement.
The indoor waterpark experience wouldn’t be complete without roping and riding adventures with Fracilla Fox, who brings her signature thrill-seeking cowgirl spirit to the experience at Fracilla Fox’s Water Rodeo. Get ready to embark on Fracilla Fox’s Lasso Looper, filled with twists, turns, and unique translucent details that add excitement around every corner. Ready to see who’s the fastest in all of Friendship Forest? Jump on Fracilla Fox’s Swirl & Twirl, a dual mat racing slide, and race your friends to the finish line.
Adding to the indoor waterpark's adventure is the Bayside Lagoon, an expansive activity pool offering basketball, swimming, and exciting games with the Country Cascades activity team. Meanwhile, parents looking to unwind can enjoy an oasis of relaxation at the warming spa. “This project is an important part of offering families the best resort experience in Pigeon Forge,” Kay CollierPittman, President, said. “This experience will be included with every stay so that we will deliver tremendous value to our guests.”

Interesting to see the changes. Very informative video! I agree with another commenter--no longer for us retired folks, but it does seem neat for families. My husband and I stayed in the original (and only) building before all of the expansions began. We stayed 3-4 times there because of the quiet, price and the breakfast. They used to make omelets for you. No charge! Got a box of taffy when you checked out.

We stayed there 3 summers ago during the pandemic. We loved it then. Had a patio room facing the big pool. It's even better now. Only bad thing now is they're charging $14 for breakfast. That's very steep. Can't believe all the updates though. Very cool. Thank You for the updates.

That place is nice I never no anything about it until I stayed across the street it’s been long time ago. They we’re working on the slides at the time. This place is on my bucket list in the future
These new rooms are a great addition to Country Cascades Waterpark Resort in Pigeon Forge!
Reminds me alot of some of the water park resorts in Wisconsin Dells. Ryan and family, if you ever find yourself in Wisconsin, I highly recommend Wisconsin Dells and Baraboo Wisconsin. Lots of family friendly attractions and activities, and beautiful scenery. Its alot like Gatlinburg, just no mountains and instead has lots of lakes and forest activities and resorts.

You do need to be staying at Country Cascades Waterpark Resort to utilize their amenities.
The mini fridge is a must for anyone needing to refrigerate insulin

Not for retired folks but nice for the young.
These rooms at Country Cascades Waterpark Resort are geared towards families.
I stayed here back in 2018. We really enjoyed the stay at the time. While I appreciate all the updates and renovations and everything else they've put into it, I was so disappointed recently when I learned they no longer offer the free breakfast buffet, which is sad since this was one of the best free hotel breakfasts at the time. I most likely wont stay there again because of this.

This place has everything you can think of doing however I imagine that the lodging is very expensive and so are the other activities that are not free.
Cabana is $100.00 to stay in the shade is beyond my budget.
They are certainly out for profit and I would not be interested in this place.
We have an indoor water park in my area and it’s great in the winter months.
