    For anyone upgrading your interior Q50 lights to leds. Just pop the plastic transparent cover off the housing of the light with a small flat head. Its much easier. Do not pull the full dome light assembly out because its a pain to get the assembly back in properly without messing stuff up.

    Wasn't sure how the amber color on the red lens would look, but I like it. Time to order. Thanks for the video!

    I got the lastfit bulbs. It looks great. Bright and has the correct amber color all cars should have. The tail as turn looks nice, but they don't look as bright in daylight. And they're the wrong color. Idk why car makers are using red turn signals now. If people are behind you in busy traffic, only the guy behind you(maybe 2 cars) can see if you're signaling. Otherwise they'll only see 1 side. If they're heavy traffic, they'll only see it blink once. Is that car braking? Turning? The stock turn signal has its own lamp which is OK, but the amber lastfit bulbs makes it LED and gives it the correct color. The tail as turn just gives you blinking brake lights which is fine for looks, but I like the JDM style of the lastfit bulbs.

    Can you do a video, to show how to change the 2014 Infiniti Q50 license plate light housing. Minds just hanging, need to replace them. 👍🏾, by the way, I love them LED lights, make me want to change all on my car.

    Thanks brotha! I saw that you sold this car in the other video title 😞. Great video, I subscribed and I’ll probably get these bulbs. I couldn’t believe either, that Infiniti didn’t have LEDs when everything else is LED lol.

    7440A usually indicates Amber. Are the bulbs white since they are going into a red lens housing? If they are Amber will they still provide enough illumination since the lens is red?
    I have a 2015 Q70 and wonder if the procedure is the same.
    Personally I prefer the -Amber turn signals for contrasting color. I need to check these out and see if they fit the Q70/Q70L

    • @performancedriven
      @performancedriven  Před 3 lety

      These were Amber but since the housing was red, the Amber was not noticeable at all and made the red look darker and they are really bright much brighter than the stock turn signals. I'm very sure they'll fit on the Q70 as well but just double check with Lasfit they'll be able to advise I think. You won't be disappointed on the illumination

    • @luisquelix5487
      @luisquelix5487 Před 3 lety +3

      No you need to change the trunk and bumper to be able to fit them

    I want to end up with yellow turn signals, I have red glass on qx60 2019. Do I need to take amber bulbs? And which ones?

    • @performancedriven
      @performancedriven  Před 3 lety +1

      The bulbs are always amber the glass itself makes it seem red. Same deal with my Q50 these were super bright Amber bulbs but because of the red glass it makes it look redish. Only way atleast that I know to make it yellow is removing the red glass for a clear one if that exists which is quite a project itself

    Hey I just got my q50 and I have a really noob question. Can you direct me on how to turn off the navigation screen to the clock like you have?

    • @SpiderAbu
      @SpiderAbu Před 4 lety +1

      Hey, as far as I know, only the base Q50 models come with the standard clock as the premium/tech trims replace that clock with a navigation unit.

    • @garagemgringa7910
      @garagemgringa7910 Před 4 lety +2

      You can't replace the navigation to the clock, it's because his car doesn't have the nav system..

  • @TheNonSmokingTire
    @TheNonSmokingTire Před 5 lety +3

    why not get he dynamic diode? it'll use the brake led lights as a turn signal... for $40 you cant beat that.

    • @performancedriven
      @performancedriven  Před 5 lety +1

      That's true but I wanted to utilize the OEM turn signal and LASFIT reached out for help so why not :) maybe in the future when I get tired of it but I feel that this is much brighter than converting the brake light into a turn signal which is what I was looking for

    Do I not need resistors to go with those led indicators? Are they going to work normal without hyperflash?

    • @E92Chrisp
      @E92Chrisp Před 3 lety

      No clue that’s why I am skeptical cuz he only has it in hazard which doesn’t hyperflash

    does it hyber flash when you turn the single to the left or right?

    • @TheSoccerkid00
      @TheSoccerkid00 Před 5 lety

      By the looks of the video I think it is hyperflashing which is pretty lame the car doesn't recognize those LEDs its gotta stay stock unfortunately I tried doing 2018 taillights it didnt recognize them and it was hyperflashing

    • @mesh_alg
      @mesh_alg Před 5 lety

      Martin Hernandez that’s bad i liked the color of it it looks almost OEM color not like the other LED’s that looks like they’re close to red more than a clean orange, I hope I find a good one with a good color that doesn’t hyberflash

    • @performancedriven
      @performancedriven  Před 5 lety

      It does not hyper flash I have been running these for a while now and no issues regarding hyperflash or the car recognizeit. It blinks normal as shown in the video :)

    Waste of time and LED or regular bulb still look like crap. Contact diode dynamics and grab a tail to turn kit wich is plug and play and you don’t even have to remove the lights. Turns your brake and running LED lights into integrated turn signal wich looks 100% times better than that stupid little turn signals that Nissan and Infiniti always put on there high end models. Looks like an after thought. These kits are cheaper than most LED bulbs and even come with a warranty from them and great customer service. diodedynamics.com and you won’t regret it.
