Guess I better find my burnt up ecmlink chip and get in contact with ecmtuning. Didn't realise v3 wasn't the cable itself...thanks for that, might have ecmlink now after all

Never tried ECMlink but I believe that blackbox is a better learning curve for tuning

How? It takes two different programs to operate. On a MAF car, ECMlink is as easy as moving sliders around, if you dont know much more than that.
I know a lot of people who use/have used a blackbox and none of them has said it's user friendly

I have a early model 96 eclipse gs 2.0l with a 420a manual I am real confused on my ECM as it has a Chrysler label on the case. I just made this into a 420a turbo Chrysler dealer said mine was for years 94-98 but can't find any info on if this one has eprom they say it is but I think they ment EEPROM how can I tell?

I have a 95 eagle talon with a Cat3 cable coming out from under the passenger dash. Would this be like V1??

What are signs of bad ECM ?
My tach meter needle bounces erratically

depends, usually that's power transistor but it could be anything, you'd need to pull codes
