That's a 15 year old on guitar. 17 and 18 on drums and bass. All 3 went to the Yamaha Institute of Music. Hal-Ca wrote this when she was 12.
Miyu on bass is only 8 months older than Hal-Ca, both were born in 2002.
Mio on the drums in Nov. 1999.

Good info. I was just repeating numbers that are apparently inaccurate. Or I'm messing up correct numbers.
As best I can tell, the video was shot in late 2017, around Haruka's 15th birthday. Which I guess would make Miyu a few months short of 16, and Mio just having turned 18. So not too far off. And she sure did write it at age 12. Or at least the first performance of it was in early 2015, when she was 12. She could possibly have written it already at age 11, just like she did _155._
There are also performances of _Magic Bullet_ and _Over Drive_ from June 2015, so she was only 12 for those as well. Although Over Drive was probably written mostly by Miyu and Mio, as they also performed it without Haruka around that same time (Asterism wasn't a thing yet, and they still had their separate gigs as O.G.I, without HAL-CA).
They are simply insanely gifted, and Hal-Ca was born to be a rock star. Thanks for checking it out and thanks Sal for recommending it.

I LOVE Asterism and this track is by a country mile my favourite ! both for the music but especially for Hal-Ca's attitude .
It's a travesty that they aren't better known and more widely appreciated - but with their skill levels I'm sure it's just a matter of time 🤞
Hal-ca played a Yamaha Pacifica for years including in this video. Approximately one year ago (give or take six or 10 months), she scored an endorsement deal with ESP. She's rockin' with a really nice ESP guitar today. She had used an ESP guitar before but primarily used the Pacifica.

Blaze, Dawn, Magic Bullet, Full Throttle and 155 are also worth a look. There's an 18 minute show called "Zepp Yokohama".
