Personally I think if you can find a Skeleton spawner, you don't need to worry about Soul Sand Valleys, since building a skeleton farm isn't too difficult
Another great way to get bone meal is using nether wart blocks from trees on a composter! You can get a lot of bone meal for each tree, its renewable, and doesnt involve combat :)
Yeah, a skeleton spawner or a cactus/bamboo farm with the hoppers running right into composters. All you really need is one cactus/bamboo to start it off and you can go from there.
Edit: I meant the bamboo and cactus being used as a passive exp farm. The bamboo for fuel and the cactus as the thing being smelted.
First farm I learn to build was a skeleton dungeon gravity spawners and Iâve now made raid farms on bedrock, once one make one working farm it snowballs and I love it!
A Skeleton spawner almost makes the composters and Soul Sand Valleys useless, only reason why they isn't is for excess seeds/saplings and a ton of Soul Sand. But yeah a Skeleton spawner will always be the best for bone meal.
But finding one is
it honestly might be less work to make a sugar cane and cow farm than to find a stronghold library đ
just use eye of ender to find stronghold
Use chunkbase
@@bladearmor1910 well you need blaze powder from a nether fortress and endermen often donât drop eyes of ender without looting three. Also eyes of ender can break
Just Find Libirard
It is. Though my cow farm still needs a lot of work. I'm on bedrock, so no entity cramming for me. And the sound of them in the water is irritating.
I use the lectern trick a lot, I usually trap the villager in his house. The first time I did this it took 3 days of chopping and popping that lectern down to get the Mending book I wanted. I saw that I needed a book to trade also so I had to run 2 minutes away to my storage chest and when I removed the block in front of the door, zoooom! This dude was gone! So I ran and got a couple of books from my stash as quickly as I could, came back and no sign of the villager anywhere! I looked around the village and not finding him, just randomly started hiking up the mountain. After a minute I look ahead and see this goofy bugger halfway up this snow peaked mountain just trucking as fast as he can to get away from his village!
He knows his fate, into the one black chamber he goes
He doesn't conform to your tyrannical system !
Unlucky bro. Iâve gotten natural mending villagers for 2 books and 16 emeralds. Not even joking. Stole that shit with a fletchers help
I hope you were able to get him back!
In a group serger, remember returning to one of my custom villages to get some Mending books for the others...only the librarian wasn't there. I scoured the area multiple times, but he was just gone. I made a missing person poster for the Discord. Finally I had to farm a new one...and this was before you could force a career!
I've been trying to get efficiency V from a librarian for weeks. I have 10 trapped villagers and put down 10 lecterns at a time keep trying to find that trade its super rare
My favorite tip: if you have a bed and youâre exploring, chances are night time will fall. Place your bed literally anywhere and sleep in it before any mobs spawn. This will allow you to wake up without any mobs spawned around you. I remember sleeping in the middle of a plains biome and nothing spawned once I woke up. The key is to sleep in the bed right when the game allows you to.
i just keep clicking it until the moon comes up đ
that was a beginner tip but you will loose on your base when you die because you place bed everywhere when you're exploring so if you're brave just fight all those mobs.
Thank you for helping me and me son
I do this. It also doesn't hurt that my base isn't far from spawn. So no worries of ever losing it. It is possible to sleeps with mobs around, just super risky. They will slap you out of that bed. Or in the creeper's case, blow you out of it.
My tip, and it's a weird one, is just build your storage room straight away. Sleep in it, put your furnace setup in the middle. I had my chests laid out before I even built the walls. You'd be surprised how little the mobs wander in and you get to organise everything right away.
I got one in a mountain onm best thing u can start with add barrels they make it look good too
I built an underground mob farm(no spawner) on third Minecraft day in my current world. The thing is now the cornerstone of my world đ. I installed redstone lamps to turn it on and off, cured some zombified villagers that spawned and made a trading hall and curing chamber next to the mob farm. The farm gives me lots of strings and rotten flesh to trade with villagers, and i get lot of arrows and bones for bonemeal. Now i spend most of the time underground.
I know 5 months late but I like to build a small house put anything in any chest wait till I have iron armor then build a slightly bigger house and the first thing is move the bed and storage and make the storage not be messy
I did the same thing, before building my base, and organised everything, villagers are in the First floor, my things are on the ground floor
Also you can waterlog chests too if your worried about creepers and it will be just fine! :)
Saving diamonds by trading with villagers.
To clarify this comment:
Trade with a villager to get a tool enchanted or no, Disenchant said tool if need be, and just use another villager to get the books you want

I'd like to add some notes!
2. The next best *renewable* way of farming bone meal I've found without skeleton grinders is nether trees. Nether wart blocks have an 85% chance to add compost to the composter, and I've been getting bonemeal with an average of 9-12 blocks. This could be good for peaceful!
3. Another great use for fortune is using it on leaves! It may burn the durability of the tool, but you nearly double your sapling yield (great for jungle trees) or get a plethora of apples from oak and dark oak trees.
8. Note for new shield users! There is a short period where the shield goes up when you hold right click. This animation will not defend against attacks, and the shield will only block attacks when it is fully up! This is to prevent players from just tapping right click to block.
9. (This is more of an anecdote than advice because I'm not sure of the best way to trigger this effect.) On the subject of exploring, if you want to find caves, you can hit F3 and watch your sounds info. There is a percentage gauge called "Mood" and this is what triggers ambient cave noises to play! I've had the best luck interacting with things to cause more sounds to fill the bar up (that is the anecdotal part) and then dig in the direction of the sound! Its not always a very large cave but if you're about to have an ambient sound anyways its nice to be ready for it.
10. Trapdoors can be used in similar ways to make fences that mobs cant go over but players can! It works in the same way.
11. Hope you're having a good day :)
Or build a fish farm with a looting 3 sword. 15 minutes and I got over two stacks of bones
I have always kept my animals in a two block deep hole with trap doors on the side to get out. Animals can exit out fence gates but not trap doors.
As a console player, I wish theyâd add #9 to bedrock edition. Subtitles have been a standard feature for years - decades by now - but Minecraft canât have it?

Yeah finding the bookshelves of the stronghold is the best tip for early game đ
I have to add that planting big spruce also turns the dirt around it to podzol, so it opens a way to farm mushrooms too.
the rails act like an anti-sea bear circle

I used to be huge into Minecraft when it first came out, now Iâm getting back into it with my girlfriend all these years later. Thanks for presenting and articulating all of your videos clearly. Keep making videos about all of the new updates please and thank you.
I used to think chunk loaders were cheating, and then I travelled 40,000 blocks and back on bedrock (elytra one way), to bring mooshrooms back to my base. On the way back, I found another mushroom biome like 2,000 blocks from my base⊠yeah. I use them now.
I spent 5 hours searching for my end portal in the nearest stronghold only to find out there was a completely detached library with the end portal coming off of it. I feel you. very useful.
biome finder is also good to use because when you don't go around and try to find one biome hours, you also are not generating new chunks too much and it's easier to find new things in the future updates
It cheating

If youâve already levelled up and cured a librarian or two you can often buy bookshelves for one emerald. Easy.
Plus you could then break them down and sell three books for bookshelf for an emerald each
infinite emerald hax lol
If you move the Villager's workstations with a piston/sticky piston, you don't need to break it and replace it, saving you lots of time and tools
Finding sunken ships, treasure maps, villages, temples and ruined nether portals early game are also best ways to get resources efficiently.... even diamonds sometimes
Clear and concise, as always.
Thanks!
Iâve been playing minecraft for 3/4 weeks now on Nintendo switch. I actually got it for my 5 year old who plays pocket edition and somehow fell in love with playing. I enjoy playing survival mode on easy mode, once I get bored Iâll up it but so far I really enjoy the game. Thanks for the seed map tip I had no idea and Iâm really excited to check it out!
Soul sand valleys are dangerous. It's much easier and safer, as well as more rewarding to setup a grinder from a skeleton dungeon. Infinite bones.
Never knew fortune effected crops, very useful! :D
I never thought it'd be so easy to end up going in circles until I experienced it firsthand!
This is my new favorite minecraft channel. Eyecraftmc has teached me both how to flex on my friends with cool builds and knowledge, and how to kill them with firework rockets! :D
I'm happy to help :)
Enchantment Book and Infinite Food methods are both certainly the most useful to me!
I'll make sure to make use of those! đ
With a good bow from random skeleton drops or fishing an early woodland mansion raid will get you enough books for enchanting too, large librarie rooms are fairly common, so far 4/5 mansions I went to had large libraries, sometimes 2, the one time it didnât still came back with more than enough books for a maxed table due to the other libraries and room varients with bookshelves. And often times I would find the libraries before any of the invokers, plus setting a respawn just outside a mansion would let you continuesly throw yourself at it with reckless abandon, unless itâs hardcore
dude i saw literally 2 of ur vids and subscribed instantly. this was like 6 months ago. i still love ur vids. thanks a lot!!
Glad you like them!
I wish I found your channel when I first started playing. Such good stuff! Thank you!
Love the video man!

Yes its been really crazy I was at 88K a week ago now at 99K!
â@@Eyecraftmc wow dude i found out you have 400k now, congratulations đźâ€
Couple interesting things I learned.... Mending, applies with the experience gain from smelting to repair your tools, along with the breaking of resources. And an efficiency 3 shovel will take out dirt and sand very fast.
I knew all of these except the rails one. How bizarre, I'll definitely find a use for that!
This will most certainly be helpful in my survival playthrough
Man thank you so much for showing the minecraft seed đ , without it I'm nothing
I believe the shield can block multiple attacks. The shield cannot block attacks that come from behind or on your side to a certain degrees.
Great video! đ
From what i've heard, shields will block all attacks within your field of view, so it's actually beneficial to turn your FOV to the highest you can handle, I prefer 90 FOV
Great info, but I really do have to disagree with the âfull enhancement set upâ part. Bookshelves really arenât that hard to craft, while waiting until you finally find a stronghold just for its library is far too time consuming and risky. Most times when I start a world, I usually already have dozens of bookshelves before Iâm even able to craft the enchanting table.
exactly, plus getting these enchants are a good step before raiding the nether to get the blaze powder for the eyes of ender.
I made a fish farm early game for bones ink and food, also did not find a library in my local stronghold but I did find a woodland manchen, great vid thanks
This is super helpful, thank you đ
I started putting a hopper over a composter over a hopper and putting extra beet seeds and wheat seeds. Got about a stack of bone meal per 4 stacks of seeds. Not bad for such little effort
5:54 Or a woodland mansion.
Also that exploration tip is really useful :D
Actually you can build mob grinders which give 300% more bone loots if I was right although it is required to build 128 blocks above the ground plus it needs to have 3 rooms for more efficient loots and xp. But even tho it can take time it can be still super useful bc the grinder also has gunperders and other stuffs so no need to build another farm for creepers. With this 3 in 1 grinder you can get atleast 9+ stacks of bones within an hour other than other mob loots. Can be also fully automatic by making the floor campfire than slabs.
yeah me and a friend built ours, have a villager trading area set up. also some good size farms. trades help also with dumping useless items like rotten flesh, you can also sugar cane farm for paper. those trades r pretty good. esp with fortune 3 for harvest.
2:44 you don't break the bush, you pick the berries đ«
very nice and helpful video!
Great tips , thanks man
Quality content! you definitely deserve more subs
I didn't know about the rails. Thanks!
Happy to help!
If you want to dig straight down take some ladders with you. Place the ladder and shift while you dig, go down the hole, place another ladder, rinse, repeat. It keeps you from falling into unknown danger and only one block wide does the trick :)
this helped a lot thank you â€
Love you're really helpfull and interesting videosđ„đ„ could you make a enchanting guide of wich enchantments are the best on wich weapons and tools?
Thank you. This dude. Is so helpful
Its best to find a village because you can get a sourse of food, free beds and also if you harvest villagers crops in java, they usually replant it
If you put lectern on sticky piston and flip, you can get the enchanting book u r looking for without breaking tools, and its is quicker than just break lectern
O brilliant, ty.
What do you mean flip?
@@ajg9758 I mean flip the lever
this helps thank you :)
I feel like you should have talked about moss farms in the bonemeal part, as they PUMP out bonemeal.
or even a skeleton spawner
A very useful tip related to a Fortune (2,3) enchanted tool, mining gravel with this will always give flint.
Hope it helps :)
Keep up the solid videos eyecraft! One million subs is in the near future for u!
I wish I could subscribe twice,you are so helpful,thanks!

Great video as always. I got a recommendation for you if you ever need one. You should do a basic restone guide video. It would help people like me with the way you explain things and show it. Theres always something new i learn in each video(even if its small). Your Elytra video actually taught me how to fly and brake properly. Thanks for all the information you share with us.
I would love a redstone basics guide so much!!
I think he did that!
Ooohhh... Ok subscribed! Handyyy!!
Can you do a â all about strongholds and how to survive oneâ please?!
The best source of bone meal is fossils by far, especially if you hunt diamond fossils with a silk touch pick axe and bring em back to your base and use a fortune 3 pickaxe to break them, its amazing, and some fossils are larger than others and obviously more dangerous than others, but if you utilize the "stand between 2 blocks" and dig those 2 down to lets say -54, if you hit a large cavern, lets say a legit 80 block drop, you should catch it before you actually fall, another greater indicator I personally use as I do this a lot is that I usually have a full inventory of crap ores than I can toss out/swap out when need be, so when I'm digging straight down, there are stacks of whatever on both rocks that I'm standing on, and if I dig one block out and hit that 80 block drop, I will notice those drops/that junk that's there while im digging will fall.
This gets a bit trickier with higher efficiency pickaxes and netherite eff 5, as you go a bit too fast and have to be REAL quick to avoid falls like this.
If your able to mine directly down to the diamond fossil, build right back up to where you started with 1 block tower and cap it with deepslate, as all fossils are in deserts and the deep slate is indicative that someone has gotten it/etc.
IF your on server and you do this, and you have to move while you make your way down, and you don't end up back at your start, still find your start and cap it, as itll likely be right at the fossil coordinate and you don't want to leave a giant open shaft into the ground.
a normal diamond pickaxe I find is best to actually mine down to -54, as with the 2 block standing trick, you never go fast enough, especially on deepslate, to miss lava, falls, etc. Obviously the best eff pickaxe for mining the actual fossil out is best.
Fossils are forms that sometimes some of the fossils are swapped out with ores, anything below like -34 is a diamond fossil 95% of the time, anything below -40 is 100% of the time.
Use chunkbase with your seed and go to a desert area and see.
I commonly bring multi pickaxes (silk touch, fortune, and a normal diamond to prevent falls specifically, as netherite eff 5 can be a bit too fast), and when I have gotten one fossil and I'm near another diamond fossil, if its anywhere within like a 150x150 grid of me, I'll likely dig at -54 or wherever I'm at to get to the next one..
Atm I'm building a creeper farm and it requires like 24 stacks of jungle doors, its literally 95% done, just gotta place another full thing of jungle doors and its done, I've just been procrastinating for the last day lol.
Ah yes, I didn't know the fire spitting ghost looking things were kind of dangerous thanks for the information
Nice!
hey love your videos, but if there's one suggestion i can give then pls try to increase the overall volume of the video just a bit so that its loud enough...
If you have iron farm, you can use it too as a bone meal farm. Or use seperate cactus farm
i mean without tutorial its impossible the game itself dont teach you or give you objectives to learn stuff
Hi love from New Zealand goated gang đŻđ€
the best bonemeal supply is skeleton farm (which is a great farm for arrows and xp as well) and its important to state that fortune doesnt effect the wheat (only the seeds)
Thanks đ
the best tip i have is that if you find a village start an auto bread farm, you could have a village dedicated to auto farming crops and never run out of food
CONGRATS ON 60K SUBS.
Thx!
Actually using moss to get bone meal is a lot safer
The Villager trade re-rolling feature will be tweaked in a future update. Because with the new Villager trade changes Librarians will only sell 4 books in their corresponding biome instead of every book.
If you find a skeleton spawner you can make a very good farm of arrows bones and xp
7:10 there is a small chance you could run into lava if on a side that isnt revealed on the block your standing on has lava and you break the block you burn
Tip:
Play the game however you want.
Easy to hard. hardcore to creative. Anything. Just play and enjoy it. You'll get frustrated if you lose all your hard earned stuff in the end. So put on keep inventory. If you want a challenge. Just.. put on hardcore or hard mode. Maybe mod the game to make it harder. do whatever you want. Minecraft *IS* a *Sandbox Game* afterall.
For the golden carrots I had a bee farm next to my pumpkins and melons. Fortune seemed to have worked on the melons which of course let me just rack up a good cpl hundred emeralds. I felt like a thief
Thanks for the video
No problem!
Chunkbase is great, but I don't get a Features bar to see settlements and other details on the map. The chunk info and the biome info is fine.
I love the outro
Awesome video
Thanks!
8:09 what's the seed of this world? This reminds me about a seed, eckosoldier showed a few months ago. I like mountains like this, where it is lower in the middle.
Fortune on wheat gives more seeds then wheat. It gives you a surplus of wheat. So you can turn it into bone meal.
That works, but it's probably best to save that for trades. They may be hard to find, but if you get cocoa beans, start farming those straight away, they're fantastic for bonemeal
@@stephenscribbles I didnt know that
@@SkillfulCurve yeah the reason as to why I use cocoa beans is because (if I'm not mistaken) you can't trade them to villagers for stuff and they aren't super useful otherwise (unless you need lots of brown wool, but that that point you may as well just make a wool farm) and they're great for compost, so that's really the only use for them, but it's a really effective way of using them
@@stephenscribbles thank you
Eyecraft, very good videos ! keep it up! You deserve more subscribers!

If you hadn't said that he needs it to restock, I probably would have never caught on and just kept waiting for my librarian to restock.
Seed finder is obviously smart. But reduce the fun matters imo
The lectern idea is new to me. thank you
Enslaving villagers i see
Last tip is op
Does the seed finder thingy work for ps4
Unfortunately ChunkBase does not work past 1.18
Really? Itâs been working for me
the best way to get bone meal is with a gravity grinder or a mob grinder in my opinion
Can you do a tutorial on how to use chunk base
PLEASE
So basically, a ring of rails is the Minecraft equivalent of engraving "Elbereth". Cool.
6:34 also you could also fine a Mansion they will also have a lot of books just be careful there a little Dangerous
I like how you have the suspcious soup in your inventory.
So let me get this straight, an easy way to get the bookcases for your enchanting table is to get them from a stronghold "simply"
So in other words - Build a nether portal, find and raid a nether fortress, hunt Endermen, LOTS of endermen, then travel god knows how far to find and raid a stronghold... that's what your saying is an easy way to get bookcases?? W.T.F dude!
đđđ
The only thing that I think this is viable is if you somehow find a village with cleric in it. But farming for wood, sugar cane and cow is still way much easier.
@@SatoshiKenji A cleric? Do clerics sell books? I usually buy bookcases from a librarian.. but it does take a bit of work to level him up, but needless to say it is 1000% easier than 'simply' getting them from a stronghold! pffttt Hahahaha
@@mystikmind2005 Well, Expert Cleric got Ender Pearl, which cuts time from hunting Enderman. But, that's about it. Other things still needed to be done, like going to Nether to find Blaze Rods and such.
A bit easier, but still waste of time.
@@SatoshiKenji Ok, but it is still a better option to train a librarian rather than a Cleric... but theoretically you could kill 2 birds with one stone training the cleric instead... the problem is, sometimes strongholds decide to be over the other side of the f--ing planet, so for that reason, and that reason alone being a MSSSIVE pain when it happens, i would rather just go with the librarian.
You are always so helpful to me, and as everyone states, the chill to the point vibe of your videos makes you hands down the best M.C. youtuber! The big help today is silly, but this one just reminded me that the one tree type missing on my farm is the one I really need, spruce! If I wasn't a lame bedrock console player, I'd be on your server so fast!
