About Sierra and Stephen IRL
Hey friends! I’m Sierra Schultzzie and this is my vlog channel with my husband, Stephen. We started vlogging 5 years ago to document planning our wedding and growing together as a young married couple, and the channel has now really become our passion project. We love creating travel vlogs, disneyland vlogs, showing behind the scenes of creating my fashion and lifestyle videos, and all the little ups and downs of our unfiltered, real life. We loved documenting our journey trying to concieve and getting pregnant, are now so happy to be sharing our experience as first time parents to our daughter, Grace.

Whenever I hear grace talk I’m always so impressed how you understand her so easily lol
Could also be external context she has which we dont. She sees grace's surroundings, facial expression, body language, etc. We just hear a tiny voice saying words she's still learning. 😊
She is with her 24/7 so she is accustomed to translating Graces speech!!

I can't get on board with the boxer shorts trend. It only ever looks like pajamas in public 😂 but I'm old.

Yes, I agree. I bought some men's boxers the other year and just sewed up the front hole so I could wear them as PJs, but I wouldn't be able to make myself wear them out of the house

Oh my gosh! We bought mens plaid boxers in the 1990's! We would sew the fly shut, and wear them with a mens beater tank! Of course, I was much younger then Lol!

I have such complicated feelings about having kiddos in vlogs/posts/etc. (basically anywhere on the internet), but hearing Grace's little voice hits me in the feels every time
I agree but it’s more towards parents having their kids the main center of the vlogs vs sierra is just blogging her day & didn’t have kids just for vlogs unlike others. Her kids just happen to be there bc she’s a mom. Idk just my thought.
@@espinoza1987I think Sierra does a very good job at not prioritizing Grace (and now Alice) in the vlogs, I have the same feelings as the original comment, I don’t think it’s 100% bad to show your kids in small doses, as long as they aren’t the main comment and I definitely think Sierra has a healthy balance of that. She also has said that she would never post her children in vulnerable states (crying, tantrums etc) which I think is great.

I am a longtime viewer and usually a silent watcher but I just have to say I’m so impressed with Grace’s vocabulary and how well she expresses herself. It’s clear that it’s due to amazing parenting on your and Stephen’s part and just wanted to say well done mama. ♥️
When you did the hydration reminder, it actually worked to remind me and I pulled up my lemon water at work that I haven't touched yet!! Delicious and healthy 😊

For my family of 4, doing one load of washing a day helps reduce the backlog. I've done this since my 6 year old was a newborn, and it helps not run out of clothes. Helps now my son is at school and keeping up with his uniforms

I organize my closet by color and keep my bottoms to one end on those pant hangers that you can put multiple bottoms on. It also helps that only like 5-6 colors make up my whole wardrobe. 😆

11 hours of sleep! You go mama! I had my baby March 2nd and we are no where NEAR that type of sleep. I’m lucky if we get 3 consecutive hours at night! What are your tips!?

I also love the vibe of the shorts and they’re so cute online but when I try to style them I just look like I’m wearing pjs. Haven’t worn them out of the house yet haha
I’m not sure how the fit compares to the boxer shorts you got but I have the Hollister ones in xxl and find that they run on the bigger side and I really love them!!

To any breastfeeding mommas on here whose babies are not sleeping well or feed every hour of the night - THIS IS STILL NORMAL. I am a breastfeeding counsellor and I just know that moms watching this are going to feel like theyve done something wrong because your baby doesnt sleep 11 hours a night (honestly this is very rare!) but believe me, maaaannny babies feed throughout the night and will continue to do so for months and this is perfectly fine and natural (and tiring!). Practice safe cosleeping and side feeding and this can save your life 😅❤

I went through a phase in elementary school where I wore boxers as shorts (with the crotch sewn shut). Oof, that was like 15-20 years ago😂
I'm jealous...my 4.5 month old will sleep until 11am..but she still wakes up every 2-3 hours to eat.
This is so normal don't worry! If that is how often they wake to eat then that's how often they need to eat ❤

Idk if i can get on board with the boxer short trend. Super cute, but looks too much like pajamas for me. Sometimes when I try to wear clothes that are too comfy on a day I'm working from home or have a lot of chores and errands to do (sweatpants instead of jeans or shorts for example) I find that I'm less productive, because the clothes put me in a comfy, cozy mood.

Honestly, I think everyone looks like they're just wearing their boyfriend's pajamas when they those shorts. They're cute inside the house as pjs. I just personally don't think they look appropriate for outside, but you know everyone should do that.
Sierra has started multiple times that she’s struggling with her postpartum style. She didn’t however ask for anyone’s unwarranted opinion. How self important must you feel to think that you’re the president of what is and isn’t cute. You must be fun at parties 🙄
