Question: Kevin, what screen recording application do you use the most when creating these well done software and mobile app demonstrations? Do you ever use Camtasia or Screenflow for demos where you need to show cursor and gesture actions? I find showing gestures on iPhone apps quite a challenge. Thanks for the CapCut demo. I’ll give this a try.

Hi, I am having a really annoying problem using CapCut. When I make a shorts video, when I am in the CapCut software it plays fine in the beginning. However, after I export it and play the exported video in a different software, the first few seconds are a still frame like a picture, there is no movement in the video, but there clearly shows movement when I play it in CapCut. I contacted CapCut support but they just give me an automated response. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Is there a way to lock or pin overlay clips including text, captions etc when reordering the main timeline clips. I noticed that if you have to reorder any clips on the main timeline and you have any overlays that are specific to that clip, they dont stay attached to the main clip. I was hoping there would be a lock or toggle for the overlays. Thanks for your tutorials.
I also saw from you a video on the use of 'Open shot video editor', which one of these two do you consider to be the easiest to use for a 'video dummy' ?

Thank you for this video, great work. After downloading my capcut for my windows, following each steps and all I noticed I don't have some of the features you pointed out just like the OVERLAY, BACKGROUND REMOVAL AND CHANGE, FACE EDITS AND KEYFRAMES.
On desktop, simply grab one clip and place it on the track above to overlay. For background removal, click on the clip and then go to top right, select video, and then cutout, you can then auto cutout the background. For key frames, select an object and then you can click on the diamond icon for size and position to place a key frame. The face edits should also be available 👍

HI Kevin, another good one, 2 questions please. 1) can you change the position of the text lower when you use the autotext function, when it does speech to text automatically. 2). how to remove the background of the text, i played around with it and now have the background box all the time, and want to get rid of it. thanks. Kevin, great video! Question though-When you removed the background from your headshot, and it left some of the blue around your head and by your hand, is there a way to remove that before adding the new background? Like, cleaning it up a bit? TIA
