I played this with friends in the middle of the pandemic. It was cathartic. Proof that we were still alive and doing well, even if we struggled with the music, just like we were in our own lives. It was a beautiful moment when the world was in hell in a hand basket.
Danish String Quartette is simply the best!
Beethoven ❤ is still the best

What are those 4 fierce Viking warriors doing with such weird weapons in their hands?
Rubinstein plays the adagio on piano when he's at a loss for words describing the "soul"
TWO SET VIOLIN !!

At 30:44, Rune breaks the wall!
Виолончелист отличный
Excellent performance, great group. However, I found the camera movement very distracting. I don’t want to be forced to view a concert through someone else’s eyes, especially when that someone else has more concern about the visual aspect of a performance than on the musical aspect. Musicians need to take control of videos and just have one static camera and let the audience decide where they want to visually focus on at any given moments.
Want to see it painted?
At the beginning I could have sworn it was Gordon Ramsay playing second fiddle, chopping onions very finely.
Yeah I thought that too haha...with a very young Richard Stilgoe on cello too lol!
@@andypeacock3917 what observation you have!
2nd violinist already be looking ahead to the next movement with those eyes :D 8:22
how do those people stay so still? are they dead or just old?
Maybe you should just listen without watching
Yes, and without texting
It’s like Pewdiepie’s 4 cousins made a group...
