In this clip, Zab Judah opens up about fighting DeMarcus Corley for the WBO Light Welterweight title in 2003 and breaking his hand in the second round. He explained how he fought the rest of the match with one hand and ended up beating Corley. From there, Zab addressed losing to Cory Spinx in 2004 by unanimous decision, and they decided to do a rematch in Spinx's hometown of St. Louis.
Zab explained that St. Louis was known for being the murder capital of the U.S. at the time, and he was fearful of his safety while training in the city for the week leading up to the fight. He added that he was getting death threats at his hotel and to make sure that his food was safe, Zab had his white trainer to get all of the food that he ate that week so that no one would mess with it. I, admittedly, don't know everything about baseball BUT I do know that boxing is wild because you're dealing with so many different entities from your trainers, managers, promoters, athletic commissions and the handful of boxing regulatory organizations (WBO/IBF/WBC/WBA), networks and so on. When people like Don King & Bob Arum are allowed to exist and thrive, FOR DECADES, there's no way you can say the sport isn't the grimiest 😂

As much as I like Zab the fight with Kosta Tszyu was one of the funniest knock outs in the history of boxing. Ref shouldn't have stopped it though. I think a standing 8 count would've been the way to go. He was undefeated up until that fight. Sad that he lost that fight but still the most funny ko I've ever seen.

Carlos Baldomir definitely beat Zab Judah. At first Judah was too fast for him, I had it 59-55 (5-1) for Zab Judah after the first 6. But without question, Zab Judah tired out after the 6th round and Baldomir completely swept the second half of the fight and won each and every one of those rounds. I had it 7-5 for Carlos Baldomir just like the official judges had it. The crowd was booing Zab after the fight and everything, and that was his hometown crowd and they still booed Zab Judah after cus he got tired and stopped fighting and let the unknown Argentine fighter take control of the fight and beat him in his backyard.
