  • Director and actor Robert Castle of International Theatre New York explores how an actor can discover the through-line of a character, focusing on the work of Al Pacino as Michael Corleone in The Godfather.
In this episode, Robert Castle discusses how Al Pacino uses his body as he becomes more and more powerful. Looking at two scenes from the second half of the film, we see that Francis Ford Coppola's framing and Al Pacino's tremendous poise delicately but boldly work together to assert Michael Corleone's new status as the head of the family.
