  • In October 2017, we picked our instruments to write an African Christmas song. We wanted something authentically African but also deeply biblical, retelling the birth of Jesus the Messiah. This is the product of that effort. It is a joyful song that requires you to step out of your seat and dance. In this song, let us burry all the sorrows and pains of the past and celebrate the greatest gift to humanity.
If the Democratic Republic of Congo and Kenya were to be married musically, then here is a song that consummates that marriage. With the help of God,, my spiritual son Jeremy and I can now sit back and release to you what we think is the real integration of East Africa. Our political leaders cannot unite us the way our faith in Christ and the music we share can. In this song, Jeremy, who is also my studio Engineer, pours out the best explanation in Lingala, a language from Congo, spiced with some French words here and there and I blend right in with Kiswahili. It is our tribute to our Saviour Jesus Christ who brought us together. In this video, I want to introduce you to my spiritual and musical son who is slowly taking over from me in music arrangements and production through long hours and labours of mentorship. In 2014 I blessed my Engineer Gerishom Mubanda to start a branch of our work in Kitale under his company, Asaph Studios. In 2018 I blessed Jeremy Sita to start yet another branch of our work in Eldoret under the label JerSit Music Production. With this song I want to shout to the world that this second Protege is mature enough to run production on his own. When you support Gerishom or Jeremy, you support me. With this song, we offer a sacrifice of music to the Messiah Jesus Christ and call the entire Church to pay homage to the Saviour of the world through the best they can offer. For us, our gift is music. Viva Christus! Merry Christmas to each of you, and may the dance begin.
