Doesn't need to run more than a few seconds at a time, so who cares how long it lasts, and it's easier to maintain, won't need to be rebuilt, it's a dirt bike in every way except sound. And if you're in competition, you take the advantages. Same thing people said when everyone started going 4 stroke instead of 2 stroke lol
