Today i found out that Dmitri has returned to making ASMR. I saw his video & then while watching this i realized that we are perhaps living in the best era of ASMR, as far as the viewers are concerned. The OGs are still here, active and their content is lightyears ahead of anyone else. You can see it in how deliberate every movement of their hand & fingers are, how carefully they choose the surfaces and materials to work with, they know how much time to spend on each segment before it gets repetitive & overstays its welcome and above all else, their creativity shines in making use of the simplest items to create soothing/stimulating sounds. They make it look so effortless that i often forget to appreciate their work. There is genuine love for the art and care & effort being put behind making content here- which i find the other, newer ASMRtists lacking.
The consistent shape of each item is so satisfying to me!!!

Have you tried a heavy metal detox product like zeolite powder? Some folks with Autism have benefited greatly from it. I swear by ZeoCharge but there are other good ones as well.
This is the kind of old school ASMR I miss, just a long string of different objects just to see how they sound. Nothing else.
She is such a true asmr-artist. Soft spoken voice is fantastic. Always giving us motherly love.

As an audio engineer I know what you mean and can tell you exactly why that is; they use that damn Blue Yeti mic. It's terrible.
Maria has used it , but luckily not too often. You can hear the rumble in her slime on the mic video. The mic is badly built and self resonates a bit like how a glass 'pings' when hit but much lower.
Sorry rant over I'm glad someone else spotted it 🤣
This felt so good. The sounds were phenomenal, and the visuals gave me tingles. Right down to how you move your hands and rest them. So tender, slow and precise.

18:20-18:40 please do a whole video with this type of triggers. It’s so refreshing when you do a different textured trigger in between. In a different video you called it cleansing the palate and it was the best thing ever!!!

The orange purring mat reminds me of my grandparents couch- it was orange corduroy, and I loved scratching the ridges until my fingers felt weird. I can still smell that couch!!

Today, I enjoyed the visuals the most-the light on the red lake was so gorgeous; could watch it for a half-hour! So soothing of stress-I can’t remember experiencing ASMR from visual-only before this. ☺️ Also, raking the bumpy line green rug was very cute and satisfying to see. 😊❤️✨ Thank you, Maria!

Yes I appreciate her ability to keep it at a relaxing pace. I'm not too into the crazy chaotic type of ASMR. Sometimes it works, maybe when I'm listening while cleaning, but most of the time it just defeats the purpose.
