Luffy was mostly invited &accepted his whole crew in a forceful whim/light hearted manner: like, he just scream at Chopper with "Shut Up Let's Go"; Robin with "Is that so? Okay then"; also with Usopp by "Aren't We Friends Already, Come On". But then on Water 7 both Robin and Usopp declared to quit and jumping off from the crew-Luffy never took either of that jokingly. (On Long Ring island, when Chopper bawling as he was taken in Foxy's crew, Zoro does his part seriously as vice-capt and the first mate to calm and encourage the reindeer while he ensures their victory).

This is how One Piece needs to end: With an slow, emotional version of this song showing how the Straw Hats came to be. It should show how Luffy changed each one of their lives, the friends the crew made, and reminisce about all the adventures they had. And finally, it would end with Luffy becoming the next Pirate King after the journey of a lifetime

@@yre354 I’m aware of that. I’m talking about when the show finally comes to end after Luffy finds the One Piece and finally becomes King of the Pirates. If they make a special, emotional cover of this song and play it once the adventure is over, there will be no better way to end the show.
