    Can I use the Curve in Sweden? And if so, would it be a great way to use it?

    Will I get charged a fronted fee if I use a debit card to directly pay a credit card because my debit card gets cash back on all spending?
    (aka get cashback on both the debit and credit card)

    • @jamieroundtheworld
      @jamieroundtheworld  Před 4 lety

      Nope, debit cards should be absolutely fine to pay off credit cards as that is your money to spend.
      Credit cards are a form of borrowing, so credit card companies don't want you paying off credit by using more credit somewhere else (otherwise you could just keep on doing this and never actually pay off your debt).

    What are your thought on Curve Metal? In short I really want a metal card and Curve seems to be offering the best deal for me.

    The reason I got Curve when it was in beta four years ago was that they promised to one day get AMEX on board. Still waiting!

    • @jamieroundtheworld
      @jamieroundtheworld  Před 4 lety

      Yeah it's a weird one - many people don't use AMEX so it doesn't really matter to them, but for those of us that do it's really quite frustrating! Unfortunately I can't ever see AMEX coming back on board - they just lose out on too many retailer fees.

    • @LeKretch
      @LeKretch Před 4 lety

      @@jamieroundtheworld problem is, I keep running into retailers that don't accept amex. It's just lose lose for the customer at the moment.

    Have you looked into MCO visa card?

  • @pauljones5784

    have you used your tesco debit card through curve at tesco stores or fuel ,if so how does affect the clubcard points

    • @jamieroundtheworld
      @jamieroundtheworld  Před 4 lety

      I actually don't own the Tesco card anymore, but I would try and test how the club card points work - I'm not sure whether Tesco would recognise the Curve card and award you the points unfortunately. Maybe do a couple of transactions and see if you get the points, or just contact Curve within the app and ask them - they are usually pretty quick to respond.
      On fuel - Curve will generally be declined at automatic pay-at-pump machines because it currently has restriction put on it for pre-authorisation. This is actually one thing I forgot to mention that sucks.

    There was a big deal for them to cancel/delete accounts and accounts were not actually deleted and details still "there"
    Another thing is sending people commercial cards instead of personal (more money for them during transactions)
    I will try this card but I think in the end it will be used as easy controlled card for my teenage daughter (instead of paying for revolut junior account)

    • @TheTechWizard

      With an adult Revolut account you get one Revolut junior card but if you want two or more Revolut junior accounts then you do need to pay
