IF the new Somali gov shows dominance OR undermines the sovereignty of Somaliland, then this can affect chances for Somali unity. In fact it might start a new phase in the civil war! The new somali gov needs to be very careful about how it deals with S/Land including to acknowledge its long peace and economic progress it has achieved for its people AND for those fleeing the war in Mogadisho. It has to treat it nothing less than equal so that the two eventually become one gradually NOT forced!
