I pulled up a Elizabeth 1 groat from the beach last week couldn’t believe it I always follow the channels along the breakers down to the sea 😃 plus always carry a cork to put the fish hooks in

Doing beach detecting for years now and always love someone’s perspective on it, it’s true about the aluminium..found 2 small gold rings in the same vdi range as the bloody pulltabs😅.

Beach hunting is great I spend a lot of time on beaches rivers also and I’ve had spots that have given up hundreds of silver coins one was a 1652 pine tree shilling!!!! I use a D2 and my Manticore both on the beaches

Sad to say, I've yet to use my Deus 2 on beaches,which I will rectify this year. Great, you've managed to tweak the Tekkna program, Gaz. 👏. I've spent hundreds of hours searching the south coast and particularly Welsh beaches, mostly in the winter months during big tides and after the big gales. Nice introduction to beach detecting 👍

Hi mate, just spotted this and I have the same phones (and had that issue). If I remember rightly, it might help if you use the single cable, (rather that the 3-way/multi one). Hope that helps, cheers Bob K :).

I detect early doors and evening to avoid the general public they can pester the life out of your time on the beach with the same old question found anything what the oldest you found ,found any roman really or first question always is found any gold 🙄
Now if i see someone walking towards me i walk the opposite because i know whats coming
