That's impressive for a cheap system. Looks like this is going to be a great little platform to play with. Best cheap truck I've had since the Gorgon. The Gorgon is still my favorite cheap truck ever.

      It sure is!

Gorgon is a bee to wrench on, though.

@@Boogie_the_cat ya think? I thought it was fairly easy and had lots of room.

First big noticable impression is holding it in your hand and looking at its designed. It feels heavier than it Chinese counter parts meaning very solid but not n overly heavy. Fit and finish as well thought put on its design shows why we tend to buy name brand. Its outstanding the quality of build. I was overly impressed. I am sorry but most crawlers in 1/24 look like crap compared to this in same price range. I have both. A few crawlers look good out of the box chassis wise but very few.

This is what I love about RC by the time I get mine I’ll be able to watch content how to go brushless I’ve already seen another channel that went brushless & was hitting speeds in the 40’s on 3s. Nice to see it out on brushless.

35-37 mph is the sweet spot for me but I would not kick that one to the curb unless it gets pretty hot on the off road. And as always, Thanks for the great video!

Decase the factory esc and it will be a little pocket to hold stuff. Also get the fan on it blowing air. Airflow is important.

    Love this little thing!
I think 5400kv and a 22 tooth pinion is the sweet spot.

Brushless means "you're with the times" as brushed is 1987 lol

Reminds of the WL toys era when we all hit 45mph. Now we driven 7th scale doing 85mph.

I wouldn’t even mess with 3s. That is perfect for bashing.

Thank you!!! 42 is insane on 2s.

Yeah that's faster than some 10 scale brushless trucks on 2s!

I think brushless with 50% or 75% throttle is the best option. At 100% off-road it will just tumble over every little bump. And on a skater park 100% won't have much air control because of the small wheels. I'm gonna leave mine brushed until the motor gives out.

Second person I’ve seen just leave the unused stock ESC in while running brushless. So weird. You can cut the legs/posts off the stock ESC and attach the servo to the chassis with the two little legs/posts, and if you want to go back to stock you can stick the ESC back on with double sided tape.

Replace the BL-2 Traxxas motor with this. Closer to 45mph or was supposed to be kilometers on traxxas box. hehehe

Should of had both or one as a kit to use the power system and servo you want.
