The 12V 6CT in the M923A2-M943A2 all make 240 HP/592 TQ actually,not 250 HP.1991 was the year that they manufactured most of these,which is why many of them are from the same year,but from 1987 to 1994 in total was the time line for these trucks.
@@l3eaver The NHC-250 was not in the M923A2-M943A2,they were actually in the M923-M943 and M923A1-M945A1,both trucks did not have CTIS either,all of the M812-M820 had the same engine.
No ... but i own a M923 with a nch250 (14L) and my last personal was another M923 with the 6CTA(8.3L). Ive sold 14 on f these trucks now. Yes im aware both the 14L and 8.3(w/turbo) both make the same Hp. Which is where the “gets me every time” comment if mine came from.
No,that is a 8.3L 6CT.The M923A2-M943A2 (1987-1994) in particular all had the 12V 6CT.That was the most small of Cummins they had.These trucks also were only made by BMY Harsco.And then there is the M923-M943 and M923A1-M945A1 that came out before these did,but made by AM General only,and those trucks actually had a 14.0L N/A NHC-250.The NHC-250 was the same engine that came in the M812-M820,going more back in to time.

probably rebuild date. They quit making them in 1993.
