I loved how the examiner always promoted the candidate to speak by simply asking "why". A very generous and wise examiner as well as a great candidate. ☀️🌻🏡

I see everyone complaining but I think she's pretty fluent tbh. Just because she has a strong accent doesn't mean she doesn't speak it well
She said her grandmother is a really good cooker IDK.
Not only because of that,but also because of the fact that she did not use complex grammar or uncommon words many say that.

Several improvements could be made to increase the speaking score of this IELTS candidate. The improvements are written in brackets (___)
• I know (have known) it since I was a little girl. (have Past Participle + how long)
• When did you learn to ride a bike?
• Maybe when I was (I might’ve been) 6 or 8 years old (when I acquired this skill/when I learned to ride).
• Is riding a bike popular in your country?
• Well, it depends. Because there are two parts (distinct regions) in Belgium. In the north is more popular and common (I would say/assume cycling is more popular in the north of the country) because it is less hilly (than in the South. the North has a less hilly terrain than the South)
• She is a really good cooker (cook)
• I liked to prepare stuffs (different stuff (an uncountable noun)/meals/recipes)

Her examiner is really nice. He helped her develop her answers. A random examiner will score her 6 or less
after getting 7.5 in the speaking part of Ielts, I could definitely approve that my interviewer was an absolute Bitch. maybe my eyes were not blue enough for a 9.0 :)

I think she deserve enough number. Her speaking skill is really very good
Dear, she does not keep her talk continuing and abruptly stops without completing sentences and it shows her fluency is not good, so, definitely, she does not deserve more marks in fluency, grammar, and vocabulary. She will get good marks only in the pronunciation section that contains 25% weightage and that is why she got a 7 band score otherwise she would get less band score.
This is definitely not band 9
I think she got 7 because she is so natural!

Ielts is not about the accent but its about answering the questions as good and as clear as possible
@@kalenezi8059 i didnt mean her accent was not good , her answers was so short and she was repeating the same words over and over again i think she was 7.5 or 7 at best

She's a pretty solid 7. Nothing really generous about the score. I think these test examples are fairly accurate. More accurate than a lot you see on CZcams.

@@Michael-hw9rb pronunciation is NOT accent. It means how clear the examiner can understand you. If you pronunciation is 100% clear and understandable, you will get atleast band 7 for Pronunciation only.
@@karanbirsingh4531 it's not a idea and knowledge test, it's a speaking test of how easily and clearly you can converse or explain or talk in English. Getting a band 5 would mean a high number of stuttering and long pauses because of confusion to produce sentences, not ideas.

She was good with fluency... But lacks some understanding of the question... For eg in part 2, it was a total disaster..... She couldn't understand the question.. it was related to childhood memory of making something by hand... She took it totally to another orbit... She was talking about present... So examiner was correcting her repeadtedly in follow up questions.... But she was good but not like 7 band category...
