I've never seen it before, surprising considering that they were in production through the entirety of my childhood (I was born in '88). But then, my parents never even got a computer until I was already in my early teens, and at the time, I'm betting the Mavica was fairly expensive.

That’s not inspiring what if they are genuine criticism that make things better and what if said person receiving criticism is doing something that overall goes against the general majority who would rather have some thing in a more conventional way and I would prefer if they would give a middle ground a try that’s the most important part but as much as I think you should take critique you should know what to contribute it to if you wanna look how you look then look your look but when it comes to designing something for audiences I think taking it into consideration is good but as long as you are having fun it cool but that mindset isn’t very good when it comes to a lot of things that are important like imagine if you’re favorite developer or politician said that someone who had something over you or controlled you in some way

As a young boy, I enjoyed playing with my Barbie Mermaid more than my boring Jungle Action Man. I mean, in my eyes, girl toys were much more visually interesting a glittering and could usually DO more. My Barbie Mermaid could FREAKIN' change colour in hot and cold water, how FUCKING COOL WAS THAT!?!?! ....and my Action Man could lift his arm to put his blowpipe to his mouth.....fascinating......

I'm a girl, so i got a many barbies, but something was wrong with me as a kid. i didn't like to play with them, but i loved to undress them. so i had a brunch of naked barbies in my room. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm pretty sure the ads for those things were the reason I used to run my barbies hair under the tap in the bathroom to "wash" it when I was little. Which is odd because I never had those mermaid dolls.
PikaLink91 My way of "playing" with Barbies was just setting them up in certain scenarios in my barbie hotel then walking away hoping nobody knocked it over. Majority of my time "playing" with them was making sure they didnt fall over and then leaving. I enjoyed hot wheels more. Also I'm a girl.
If I were a guy who made remixes of video game music, one I'd consider is a remake of the song at 5:08 because it's just.. fabulous. lol

Ian, why don't you play Creatures (1996/1997). I still love this game. It's a "simple" life-simulation game where you raise and train creatures called, "Norns" and teach them language, and survival skills through a reward/punishment system.
I'd offer to send you my copy, but I love the game and would just be BROKEN if something happened to it in transport.

2:19 Reminds me of those plastic Barbie "Make-over" heads I had as a kid, except the hair was usually a knotted mess with bow barrettes clipped in randomly. The make up though, that's spot on. I still do my make up like that.

When I was little I didn't give a shit. Barbies were just female GI Joes to me and I made them shoot eachother and beat eachother up just like I did with the GI Joes. My cousin got pissed when I'd perform Mortal Kombat fatalities which resulted in half of her Barbies missing limbs somewhere with the holes colored in red marker.

I had two Barbie PC games growing up, Barbie vet rescue when I was about 12 and when I was 5 I had a game where Barbie went to work(you dressed her and packed her purse to take to the office then took those items out at the office;what fun)and even though I remember myself playing it all the time, I can not find even one acknowledgement of it online anywhere.
edit: 4 years later and I came back to say, I found the game I played at 5 years old. Its called Barbie Working Women.
