- I accidentally deleted my first Arch Kirin run, so here's a substitute to make up for it.
Still trying to reach sub 5 with great sword. Damn this thing hits hard.

Luna's GS is fun and powerful enough for everything but for that sub 5 you'd clearly get there easier with the typical wyvern ignition or anguish GS those are fun with your own builds or others but yeah using what you want has a great feeling about it

Well, I avoided going in with my greatsword cause I thought I'd be too slow, but this video reminded me I don't have to charge all the way every time. I might also experiment with focus and sheathing skills.

These are the runs I love, no jumping abusing just pure skill gj . Anyway what do you think about crit draw build? I'm playing on PC and I'm farming a bit at hr 49 before doing the big jump vs the tempered Kirin.
Crit draw is fun on GS but really only practical on Kirin unless hit and run is all you do with GS, just have fun. But getting good with great sword means landing your lvl 3 slash, it literally does more than lvl1+lvl2 slash so yeah

Ahh Kirin..... I have fond memories of hunting him with fire elemental dual swords made from rathalos (iirc). In MHFU he had the habbit of taunting frequently that gave you ample opportunity for back to back demon dance. However I think that his thunderbolts are a bit unfair as you have to rely on luck to dodge them.
Man watching this really makes you feel how much health it has. Felt like you were beating on it for so long. My own GS attempts were sitting at 10mins. It's a long time to not take any hits while staying on top of it. And god forbid it leaves the area.
If you make the sub 5 run you'll be on another level. Good luck man.

how do you do that dodge in 0:59 and 1:02 ? It seems to be triggered right before you get hit. Ive never seen that and i havent found any tutorials on it
It's an effect of 'Temporal Mantle' one of mantles you get from complete optional quest.
To get this one I think you need to do Lunastra questline.

The fact that you're not even using your palico, disrepected me to the max.
Romeo Golden not using palico woth slow weapons makes the fight easier because the monster wont move unpredictable or wont get distracted at the wrong time, so you can plan ahead better

Oof, took me just 20 minutes to get clapped with GS. Was using Wyvern Ignition with free element 3 and Fire Attack 5.
Good old head sniping is still the most fun.

How did you do that slap move after the tackle? I've been trying to look for guides on it bc it's very useful for speeding up the recovery time of the weapon after the tackle.

There's a difference I noticed between this and normal/tempered, this guy is easily enter his thundergod mode while the normal/tempered one need more time.
I'm pretty excited what little change capcom would do with vaal since he's pretty much slow and readable.

That wasn't him dodging, it was Temporal Mantle. It auto dodges when you're in an attack's path.
@@AcIsTheName not tryna be a smartass, but I'm sure temporal mantle dodges more "last second" than that and also gives off a sparkly glow effect along with a "schwing-ing-ing" sound effect when it procs

I still dont know why kirin Is called Elder dragon The fact she/he doesnt have Wings and not dragon figure ,but posses incredible Power
MrJohnKiller225 Kirin is classified as an Elder Dragon because he has strength beyond comprehension, and has the power to manipulate lightning. Btw, some monsters don’t look anything like a dragon but is still an Elder Dragon.

Why don't you put 1 more attack jewel instead of 1 of the 3 expert jewels? You will have 2% more affinity and 3 more attack

I don't know yet. Still experimenting atm.
The Wyvern Ignition impact is still better but the Luna/Xeno GS is nice tactical wise.
Alex Davidson I find the anguish better as more dps than other gs as long as you get rid of the negative affinity my gs set is beast

Basically stronger, faster, and one-shot you on every attack
Is it just me or does the GS feel really weak with impact mantle compared to other weapons?
It is a little dissapointing because it doesn't last that long and it doesn't hit as much as other weapons.

In MHGU, Kirin is more difficult because it does not stop going from one side to the other and here it stays in the same place without hardly attacking...Boring
