Storm Ciaran Devastation! Garden Wrecked.

Our garden is wrecked. A massive Eucalyptus tree came down narrowly missing the Orangerie. Walls destroyed and our front gate ripped off. Thank you, Storm Ciaran, just what i needed during my first visit to the UK in a year; Luckily, Christophe was here.

How distressing this is to you and rightfully so!😢 It's never easy to come home and find this level of damage.😮 So sorry for the loss you are enduring, your trees, plants and material goods like your BBQ. But fortunately you have a good attitude and are handling it better than most, but that doesn't make it easy. The insurance assessor is visiting next week, although they can’t replace our lovely trees; i think that’s what upsets me the most.
There’s still a lot of flooding and severe damage over much of France; we got off lightly in comparison.
