    Also to be clear, if my existing V-grind angle is at 18 dps and I want a final angle of 20 dps than I should set my angle to 19dps and use the lapping films at 19dps as the film/rubber will deform and produce a 20dps - approximately.

      That's absolutely correct! And for your other question, we call them out just to make sure you're creating a v-grind with your Wicked Edge before you begin this process. You can go into convexing after your 600, 800, or 1000 grit. All three of those will lead to great results.

    You mentioned about having the fine grit diamond stone but I didn’t see you use them. Do you recommend using them?
