- Today is day one in the Magic Kingdom and we are going to see it all lit up for the first time during the Festive Christmas Season!
🏰 Before we head over to Walt Disney Worlds Magic kingdom park, we need to grab some delicious food so we head over and try Cracker Barrel for the first time
🚗 Then it's time to hit up the magic, as we get our uber to The Magic Kingdom, get the monorail and have a slow stroll down main street as we take in all the christmas lights and decorations
⭐️ Then we try and review some delicious Disney Park foods before heading to walmart and ending our evening back in Magic kingdom where we ride Tron for the very first time!

I used to work in the gift shop at Cracker Barrell for years. It was the absolute BEST job! So fun! And whoever their buyers are.... their merchandise is amazing! And back in the day 2012-2018ish, we used to offer free gift wrapping for any purchase. So some of my shifts, I wrapped presents all day. And we got to pass out samples of the different candies & sodas, cookies etc.... seriously a joy to come to work.
So excited for this trip series❤

@@catherinekayy oh, I spent a good amount of it there. So when Christmas stuff was 40% off( and anything else)... employees had a week where we would get an extra 40% off of that sale price. We ended up paying 20cents for every dollar. It was awesome!

Guardians was fantastic. So smooth, great movement, and the music ass so much to it. Very different rides and hard to compare. Both fab! Favourite ride of the trip was Velocicoaster at Universal tho. So fast, so many turns, so much airtime. wow. i dont usually buy Universal tickets too due to cost but think I have to every trip now to ride it and Hagrids. @@catherinekayy

cracker barrel is the BEST! I love their chicken and french toast its soooooo delicious together! And their fried apples are really really good!! Next you need to try Bob evans. Their biscuits and gravy are super delicious way better than cracker barrels!

Such a beautiful video Catherine especially after dark on Main Street. If you come to MK during the Halloween and Christmas parties the nights that have no party are very very crowded. And if the park is open until midnight it's going to be bad! lol The best time to ride lots of rides at MK are the party days even though you have to leave at 6. I love seeing Disney through your eyes 🥰 The hotel you stayed at is just 3 miles from my house. I'm a little further west down that street and that's the Cracker Barrel I go to. I love to buy presents in that little old time country gift shop. Someday you need to go to Tennessee and go to Dollywood. It's Dolly Parton's theme park and has a lot of big rollercoasters that you would love. And it is country! 😊 yee haw! lol

@@catherinekayy I've had my annual pass for 12 yrs and I use to go ALL the time and also ride to work with my best friend who is a castmember and I'd go to a park or hang out at a resort until she got off work. Some of the things I loved most are no longer at the parks since 2020 so I'm a bit disappointed with a few changes but I still visit and my favorite places to hang out are Animal Kingdom and Epcots World Showcase. I really enjoy watching guests like you who are so excited and happy to be at the parks. It warms my heart and makes me smile 🥰
I know they used to give a bit of a grace period of about 10-15 mins back in the fast pass days
They still do give a grace period according to my cast member sister

I can’t believe you were pretty much there the same time we were! I would have loved to bump into you. Also FYI I had a super early slot of 9:30 with Tron not expecting to even get in or plan to be at the park that time and they let me in even though by the time we got to MK my time slot and boarding group said expired on the app. It still scanned and the Disney staff were like yeah it’s fine go through! I think it’s at their discretion an maybe if it’s super busy they wouldn’t but just thought if anyone reads this I’d let you know 😂
